Behind the Screen: Movies: Generic Thread

The reality TV landscape has never been more crowded or more diverse. From dating shows to competition series to docusoaps, networks and streamers are betting big on unscripted content.

What sets the great shows apart is their ability to create genuine moments — the kind of unscripted drama that no writer's room could manufacture. That's what keeps fans coming back.

Not impressed. At all. If they **** this movie sideways I will die. Lmao. They did so well with HG & CF. I'll give it a chance, but I will have a meltdown if this one goes as horrible as that teaser.

They should've just left it as one movie. I hate when they split **** in two! I understand it's for a quick cash grab, but it's so unnecessary. I'd rather have one cohesive movie, than two stretched out shells of a story.

Some of my favorite movies: (recent ones) Mud - I totally recommend this movie, the story is really compelling and it also doesn't hurt that my favorite actor Matthew McConaughey is in it. Black Swan - I can watch it a million times and I'm still disturbed by it Safety Not Guaranted - really good movie Her - I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Drive - Ryan Gosling was amazing in this Some I want to see: Dallas Buyers Club Rush American Hustle The Place Beyond the Pines Garden State Argo

TPBTP looks good as ****. Eva Mendes is awesome. Drive was good but more meh though. I want to see Dallas Buyers Club as well. Whats Hey about again? Have you seen The Other Woman? Good as ****. You'll like the balcony scene. Black Swan 2 please.

Anyone watched Dark Knight & Dark Knight Rises and got teary eyed at the ending? No? I'm upset that... Ben Affleck is replacing Batman. Would rather watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt play Robin.

Did anybody here see the new TMNT? How was it? Thinking about going to see it this week.

I don't know where to put this, but so upset about the apparent suicide of Robin Williams. What a talent :(

Didn't see it, but didn't hear great things on how the story played out. Heard there's going to be a Power Ranger movie too, so they better not **** that up too. His death was shocking, but what a great actor. I think the last movie I've seen him in was Awakening.

Anyone looking forward to If I stay? And think that the Giver movie isn't going to be very good?

My exact reaction! I love Jurassic Park, and I hope this one brings back that sense of awe and wonder that was lost with two and three.

I definitely watched Good Will Hunting last night and listened to Elliot Smith on the drive to work to pay tribute. It's not difficult to link his work to various phases of my life.
