I will say - I saw The Impossible recently and Naomi Watts' nomination for Best Lead Actress is very well deserved. That was a good movie. It's not nominated for Best Picture but I definitely recommend seeing it.

I didn't see Looper at the theater, but grabbed the Blu-ray this weekend and it hit on every level. I will admit, I feel a bit undeserved in that I wasn't exactly happy in how it ended, but I knew that is how it had to end.

I don't understand this at all. They're actors. How famous they are shouldn't matter at all. They were all convincing in their roles. It shouldn't matter who the actor is if they sell it. I almost feel like some people go into movies like this wanting to dislike it because of the actors involved.

While Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway are both remarkable in Les Mis, to me, the film's true breakout star is Eddie Redmayne. He was phenomenal. He made Marius likable for me. In the stage version I always just brushed him off because he seemed so oblivious to all the people dying for him. But in the movie, he was so much more fleshed out and I think a lot of that has to do with Redmayne's brilliant performance of him. I expected Jackman and Hathaway to give great performances - so that's also another reason why Redmayne was such an unexpected surprise for me.

Saw Warm Bodies on friday... thought it was funny. A cheesy rom com... but had a good mix of zombie action... which is really weird lol I thought Nicholas Hoult did an amazing job as "R"... really believable zombie in love lol The soundtrack was amazing too. Although, was I the only one that didnt realize how blatantly obvious it was that this was a zombie remake of Romeo and Juliet until like halfway through lol. Oops :P

I know I am. AFter sitting through that Les Mis bull**** last night I could use F&F in my life again. I still think Part 4 supercedes part 5. I'm tired of them putting everybody together for 3 films now. I didn't either. I seen that and Mama and Les Mis.
