Sam isn't even six feet tall!! And something about Tony Shaloub really bothers me. I'd much prefer Emerson... On the other hand, Melissa Leo can do no wrong.

Yeah Sam probably has the part from the way the blogs make it sound...blah... I am actually down with Tony Shalhoub playing Beetee...good pick if he gets it.

I'm not too worried about the height of the actors. It's more the acting. So ultimately I won't know if I like them until I see some footage.

Yeah, but when reading the books I imagined Finnick as this huge tall guy - taller than 5'11. I mean, Josh Hutcherson is tiny so looking taller than him won't be too big of an issue, but I hope they give him lifts or something.

As long as he's a little taller or appears taller than Jennifer Lawrence, I think I'll be okay with it.

Melissa Leo is only 51, yet Mags is supposed to be in her 80s. What is this? I'm still for Betty White. My complaint about Sam Claflin is to be expected...not as good looking as Josh. Or even close

With a demanding schedule, it'd be much easier (and preferable) to have Melissa Leo made up to look to be in her 80s than to have someone actually in their 80s playing the part. She is legit.

A little bit of makeup goes a long way. And yeah, they kind of do, but I still think Sam is cuter than Josh.

I just don't get everyone's obsession with him. I know I shouldn't say this, but it's like the entire thing with Robert Pattinson. They aren't that good looking but have huge fan bases.

Once again, I'm pretty sure you're in the minority on this one. I don't know of any woman who prefers a shorter man.

What in the mother eff were they thinking? I'm so disappointed. That guy has no screen presence. He's like a wimpy little dorky kid. Also, he's only 5'11.

Ok, so I have some information I believe to be correct. I know they are currently casting, but so far... Philip Seymour Hoffman - Plutarch Heavensbee Jena Malone - Johanna Mason Amanda Plummer - Wiress Also, I believe they will be filming The 75th Hunger Games on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, and other scenes in Atlanta, GA.

Also... The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 will be released on November 21, 2014 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 will be released on November 20, 2015
