He beat Adam in The Ruins. The eliminations that season weren't very memorable though.

Evan has 2 losses, not 1. Just one that stood out to me. Couldn't figure out how to spell Brittini lol.

I decided that it counted because they were both up for elimination and Katelynn and Brandon wouldn't have been DQ-d if it wasn't for the beer. Speaking of DQs, you could also say that Brad vs CT and Beth vs Svetlana (and a whole bunch of Gauntlet 2 elimination rounds) didn't technically count. So in my eyes - when you're voted in and go home because of it, you have done an elimination round. And I guess i should try to fix the Evan and also CT if it's possible, thanks for pointing that out. EDIT: Apparently it's not possible to edit you quiz, so we'll just have to live with it.

Johnny didn't announce this or anything until Rivals had been at least half way over, which was in August so I think it's the latter.

Pertaining to the CT/Landon debate earlier in this thread, I don't see what their teams' performances in finals has to do with anything as it pertains to their own individual abilities. How Coral moving puzzle pieces on her own, Tonya/Tina/Eric not being able to run, or Adam being able to follow directions has any reflection of what CT himself is capable of is beyond me. Somebody brought up Landon beating CT in that zipline challenge on Inferno 2 like it somehow meant Landon was better than him just because they were matched up against each other in the same heat...big whoop. Go back and watch that season and you'll see that was probably the only time Landon beat CT at any individual challenge that season. I just don't see Landon imposing the same kind of fear and intimidation into the other guys that CT does. Evelyn & Laurel can say what they want, but at the end of the day, they'd never have to go up against CT in anything so it's easy for them to chip in their two cents. The guys are the ones that actually have to get in there and mix it up with each other and everything I've seen on the challenges they've been on is that the guys are much more intimidated to go up against CT than they are of going up against Landon. On the Duel 2, Evan said that he, Brad, and Mark were in an alliance with Landon. On Fresh Meat 2, nobody really seemed to be losing much sleep over Landon being there. On Duel 1, the guys began to conspire against CT to get rid of him and they would've done the same on Duel 2 too I'm sure seeing as they were willing to hatch a plan to get him kicked off for fighting. This last challenge, despite having the smallest and weakest teammate by far, guys like Kenny, Wes, Johnny, and Tyler were doing everything they could to avoid potentially going up against him. When Brad went up against both guys on the two Duel seasons, you could see the fear in his eyes right away when he found out he'd be going up against CT. He knew he had no chance and you could tell by the look on his face before they started Push Me that he knew he was going to get his *** handed to him. When he went up against Landon, I saw nothing of the sort. He looked pretty confident & was actually hyping himself up because he felt he had a shot at beating him if he gave it everything he had.

You should watch again, he looked extremely nervous before the first heat. Landon was tossing him around too, he had him on his back, he suplexed him, he threw him into a wall. Landon having a mental lapse for first heat and Brad being extremely crafty and lucky won the third heat, if they did that duel 9 more times Landon would have won every time.

On the topic of people conspiring against CT, nobody really likes CT, he also picks fights and has punched people, that causes intimidation. Exactly! CT is the most feared competitor in challenge history because not only is he the total pickage(big, strong, athletic, skilled) but he's a loose cannon to go along with all that. Abram is the second most feared competitor, not Landon, because Abram like CT is a loose cannon to go along with being a beast physically. CT is a superior competitor to Landon, and castmembers know he is the hardest to take out in an elimination round

No offense townie, but your opinions are biased based on you knowing CT personally. I mean obviously you are going to take your friends side on who is the better competitor. I personally believe that Landon is the better competitor, he has proved himself on multiple occasions, as far as winning 3 of the 4 challenges he has been on. Also Landon is a bit more calm compared to CT, he has a level head and can make clear decisions on his game. He plays the game socially to keep him in the game as well. Overall Landon has better social skills, game skills, and mental abilities than CT does. They both are great physical players but if you look at the overall pitcure CT has yet to win a challenge, he his a hot head, doesnt play nice, and cant control his emotions, which many would consider to be weakness.

Only Kenny & Johnny play the "we conspire against CT because nobody likes him" card to keep face with their false bravado & machoism...they don't want any part of going up against CT but their egos won't let them openly admit that so they run with that story instead. Wes said he wanted him out on Rivals because he was the biggest threat to him there and Evan said both on Duel 1 and Rivals that he would have no chance against CT in a final. As for the Duel 2...Brad, Evan, and Mark ALL voted Landon into the Duel knowing that there would be a 1 in 3 chance that they themselves would have to be the one that went up against him...Brad probably knew he'd be the most likely to have to do it seeing as he is smaller, weaker, and Landon likely viewed him as the opponent that presented him with the smallest risk of losing to...and Brad still voted Landon. I guarantee you that if CT were in Landon's position in the final four on that challenge that outside of maybe Evan (just going off his logic on Duel 1 of having a better chance against CT in an elimination than a Final) neither Brad nor Mark would have voted CT into the last Duel with a strong possibility of being the one that would face him.

You are telling me that if the final four were Mark, Evan, Brad, and CT that they wouldn't vote CT in, they would vote one of themselves in to go against one of themselves and guarantee CT a spot in the final and one of them going home instead of voting CT in and possibly taking him out an having a shot of them all making the final? You can't be serious.

I would think the only reason they wouldn't vote CT in is because they would expect to have a better chance against him in a final than an elimination round, yet you're saying that they would think the opposite. When exactly do you believe Evan said that he'd have a better chance against CT in an elimination round than a final?

In the Duel I Wes told Evan that he should take out CT before the final, and Evan agreed to that. And also in Rivals, he was very determined to take out CT so that he wouldn't make it to the final.

During the Duel II, they threw in Landon because he went to go get the cowboy hat, it wasn't because they had a better shot at getting rid of him, it was just so they could avoid the elimination round. They still had the risk of being chosen by Landon, but lucky for them Landon chose Brad. On Fresh Meat II, there was a mission where the log had to be pushed to a direction. Kenny and Pete got paired and Kenny chose Landon to be paired up with Ryan. As we all know Kenny, Pete, and Landon are stronger than Ryan; that was a very cruel move by Kenny, but it was smart. When the mission was taking place, it took Pete and Kenny some time to eliminate Landon and Ryan. By the end of the mission Landon was shaking, he used all his strength and power to try and win, on the other hand Ryan wasn't shaking as much, if I had to guess Landon was almost strong enough to eliminate Kenny and Pete, with a little help of Ryan (sorry let's face it Ryan is arguably one of the weakest male players in this challenge), and finally it's obvious Landon has tremendous endurance and strength (he showed that when he was carrying the logs back and forth like they were nothing). I have nothing against CT, but in strength I'd say it's pretty even between CT and Landon. Other than that, Landon pretty much has the whole package.

I think they were just trying to take out CT. I don't think it was a "CT will destroy us in the finals, so let's get him out of here before that happens." situation. Plus back then, I think they had less reason to be afraid of CT in an elimination round then they do now, seeing as his only elimination round prior to The Duel was an eating contest against Shane.

He indeed went in on purpose, but he didn't do that in order to go home. He did that because he thought that he would have a shot in beating him, which he didn't like Evelyn said.

Evan did say that they would lose against CT if he made it to the final.

Evan wanted to go home. That's part of the reason why Nehemiah stopped being on board with the "D-Day" thing because he heard that Evan had no intentions of trying to win that Jungle. On the Derrick podcast with Wes, Wes said that Evan didn't want to be there. On the podcast with Kenny, Evan, and Mark, Evan talked about his game strategy and Kenny said something like, "What strategy was that? Losing on purpose and not letting anyone else know that that's what you were planning?" and Evan said something like "Yup, and nobody knew until right before". I think Kenny and Johnny knew from the beginning that Evan was only there to pick up the appearance check and head back to school or whatever, and then Wes and then Nehemiah found out. The guy may have put on some weight (and not even that much compared to the Ruins when he was one of the best guys there) but not so much as to make him pretty much unable to swing on a bar...

This is how I understand the situation as well.

Yeah I dont see Evan coming back to challenges anytime soon.

What to make of this?
