Behind the Screen: Survivor: Worlds Apart - Holding on for Dear Life

Since its debut in 2000, Survivor has defined the reality competition genre with its mix of physical endurance, social strategy, and raw human drama. Jeff Probst's iconic tribal councils remain appointment television.

With the new era of shorter seasons and evolving twists, Survivor continues to reinvent itself while maintaining the core survival elements that have kept fans engaged across 50 seasons and counting.

Survivor: Worlds Apart - Holding on for Dear Life

hannamez8 ·

A reward gives castaways an opportunity to deliver supplies to a local orphanage. Also, castaways must scramble after a crazy tribal council leaves some on the outs.

As well, Happy Birthday Rodney. Stay Cool, Calm, and Collective. With all your "modivation, dedication bro."

He's not a 4 year old...hell, he's not a teenager or turning 21.  He's a grown *** man.  Win a reward or shut the **** up.  If he didn't forget the bag they probably win.

I though getting rid of Tyler was a big move by the women today...it will be very interesting to see what happens if Mike wins immunity

Will's got 3rd place locked up

It is nowhere near as bad as you keep making it out to be...you just don't like the people.  The game play has been, at worst, solid

I just thought it was hilarious with his "plan" on trying to get Mike not to use his immunity.

Agree, I thought it was a great move to get Tyler out.

So anyone else slightly concerned about the fact it's called second chance, they specify that it is for people that haven't won, and Mike and Carolyn are on the ballot. That's a terrible winner if neither one of them win IMO

Everyone left is deserving in some way other than Will even if you don't like them

Completely disagree...she's played a very strong game...a smart game.  She had control over the middle portion.  She doesn't have a winner's edit and she's not playing a great game like Kim did or anything but she's playing a very smart game.  If she can get rid of Rodney, Carolyn & Mike from here on out she wins IMO.  She may even beat Rodney

I disagree. She never really had any control early or now. Even in the middle, she didn't have any power without Dan. She hasn't made a big move whatsoever. She hasn't really done anything at all really even any little moves. No way she could beat Dan or Rodney in the Finals much less Mike or Carolyn.

Yes, I agree, people confuse her being invisible as her playing a bad game bit that's not true.

Wtf are you talking about... no way in hell she'd lose to Dan.....

Have you been watching the bonus clips and whatnot?  Neither Shirin nor Rodney respect Sierra's game whatsoever. Now that is only two people but I see Mike voting for Dan over her as well definitely.

Have you not been watching the actually show, NOBODY likes Dan, he has four votes against him already if you think Shirin votes for Dan over her than you're crazy .
Fresh Meat#19

Sierra hasn't been a bad player, just utr. I'd say aside from Dan, they're all threats to win in sociallly, strategic, etc.

It is good in the gameplay department, I will not deny that. But you're right, I do find them highly unlikable, so it's hard to watch. I need someone to root for, and it's just not happening for me.

Nah he blew up on Shirin, but he's shown to be good socially with everyone else.

I agree, he is pathethic with that "oh it's my birthday" shit...

metalking#25

Even though some people might not like Mike (I wasn't a fan of him in the earlier episodes)... I've been liking him these past few episodes, and enjoy his gameplay. I wouldn't mind seeing him or Carolyn win at this point. (even if that Survivor poll has them both listed on it)

Debut Album#26

Yeah. I'd be fine with Carolyn or Mike winning they're the best options left honestly.

Although I do think Rodney winning would be halarious.

Him blowing up on Shirin costs him the no collar votes, hers and Mikes because he insulted Mike too. That's 5 votes he won't get
Fresh Meat#28

That's stretching it, one fight doesn't indicate that he'll also those votes. He definitely doesn't get Shirin's, but as a whole, he seems well liked.

kvm1977#29

If Will gets more than a single vote at the end I'd be stunned...he's being carried to the end because he's utterly useless other than being "a vote"

Everybody from the jury (minus Shirin) said that Will wasn't nearly as bad as the edit made him to be regarding the social aspect of the game. He was actually pretty well-liked too, but he won't receive any votes unless Rodney/Dan votes for him...LOL.

Just watched the last two ponderosa videos....I can understand why almost everybody found Shirin annoying.

I haven't watched that yet but Hali is so cute with her crowns for everyone in the jury.
