i kinda agree, even with these people giving their traumatizing stories im still bored. EVERYONE doesnt have to trauma dump, its like they trying to force character development. I miss when we had an array of characters who didnt all have an emotional story to tell.

yes the sob stories were dumb but if you take that out you were left with a really good episode of survivor. much better than the premiere.
amazing though how badly they want everyone to "overcome" things. imagine if the challenge did that
Caught myself up with episode a few hours ago. So glad one of the mean girls clique was voted off on Vesi and from what ep. 3 is promising us is that huge arguments develop on all three tribes. Can't wait! Also looks like Dwight and Jesse's honeymoon is over especially when Dwight whistled "Was it you?" and Jesse confirmed yes and Dwight says "We'll talk later".

What I meant to say was that they kind of reminded me of the infamous Road Rules mean girl duo of Veronica and Rachel. Either way, now that Justine is out of the picture my hope for Noelle makes it to the jury if she doesn't make final 3.

I would wait to see if it gets better. Episode 1 was "how did watching Survivor change my life". Episode 2 was "who has the best sob story". So far the cast isn't charasmatic, engaging, likable, or entertaining. It's been boring and drawn out. But maybe it'll go up from here somehow.

I don't remember it being 3.5 hours with only two vote offs. And yes, this has been the past few seasons and it's been awful but last season at least had an amazing cast to compensate. If you enjoyed Survivor 41, you'll enjoy this garbage.
i absolutely love survivor, and don't mind all the new twists, but this cast isn't doing it for me. i haven't loved ep 1/2 so far
Season 42 was such a high and the cast had amazing chemistry. anything after was going to just be lame.
