The original spoiler account for the season did say Liana and Xander were a showmance. That person ended up being wrong and discredited but was oddly correct about other things. Maybe Liana gave Xander a handy on night 1 or 2 and then he started acting distant and their rivalry began.

I think probably that's what happened, her hostility towards him came way before the fake idol, and that kind of behaviour doesn't come from nothing for sure.

Ignoring the Xander hate, liana may be the worst survivor player since laurel. And even laurel smartly got in with the power

Danny talked about his dad dying 25 years ago that day.  Danny won immunity.  Twist was first person out has to play "do or die".  Heather and Liana sat out.  Deshawn came in last so he'll either go home without a vote or will be safe and they'll have to vote someone else out.
