I wouldn't get your hopes up... It's possible they were the team that was pulled from the game, but considering they've been cleared twice by medical for TAR in the past, I doubt it. At least with the lack of RI, if they get voted out they're done and we don't have to worry about them winning duels and reentering the game.

The special idol was way to powerful

Dalton Ross, who was not a fan of Redemption Island outside of Blood vs Water, said he "really, really likes what they're doing instead." I still have no clue what kind of twist they will do, but apparently it's good, so that's comforting. According to the co-executive producer of the show, it may even alter people's gameplay, making them question whether they'll play aggressively or tone it down a bit. The rumored twist is that each tribe selects one player to compete in a duel. Winner wins reward for their tribe as well as a clue to the hidden immunity idol that they must give to someone on the opposing tribe. Ehh... I smell more clue burning. If this is the twist, I'm a bit disappointed. The above interview from this morning led me to believe it would be a bit more epic. Hopefully this rumor is nothing more than that, and the real twist is something awesome.

So this would eliminate reward challenges. But what the point of giving someone the clue. I would wanna keep it!

Yeah. I like the idea it just needs some tweaking. I was thinking they were gonna use the arena and have eliminated contestants come back and compete for a spot in the game. So the winner re-entered the game.

Agreed. The current rumor really isn't much different from Redemption Island, the only difference being it uses players still in the game instead of those who were voted out. It seems like a waste IMO. The interview with one of the producers said the new twist will possibly change player strategy, how will reward duels make an individual want to play differently?

I can only pray this was the case. But with the way my luck runs and with the way the teams I love or the people I love never make the end...they will for sure make merge. :/

Just remember everyone, don't have a preseason favorite because last time everyone loved JTia and thought she would be great and look how that turned out lol I still find it funny just how bad she was.

I definitely do not judge by the preseason cast show. Because during that, I really disliked Spencer and Tasha, but liked others. So I'm not going to judge anyone, but the twins.

Yup the twins are the only exception to that lol no matter what they do I'll hate them.

I've never given up on a season of Survivor (been with it since Day 1)...but I will if they get annoying.

I expect them to both whine so much that they would probably be voted out early that's the dream lol then somebody beats them and votes them out of the arena (assuming that's the twist)
