Behind the Screen: Summer Movies 2009

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

No I have seen it. I honestly couldn't stand it...

Aww, why not?

I mean, I never expected it to be witty, but I mean seriously, sometimes the comedy has to have something behind it. I guess I cannot watch a movie with no substance.

I can, I am okay with going to a movie that is supposed to be fun and not necessarily out there to win an Oscar. I usually tend to like those movies more often than not. Don't get me wrong, I love a good drama but a silly comedy is great as well imo. They are not meant to make you think...just make you laugh.

Yeah I was surprised Christian Bale didn't turn in his usually astounding performance.
I am totally late to the game on the discussion of my man Christian...I have been in love with him since I saw Newsies the first time. But I haven't seen him in this yet...I will comment when I do!

I didn't know it was an ad for a movie until the end. I was like ok is this some self help 1-800 commercial? When I saw that it was real I thought to myself, what kind of ish was this producer smoking?

I think it looks funny now. If this came out before my wedding last year, I would have passed out watching it. I was a bit of a bridezilla.

I wonder if there ever really has been a bride who wasn't referred to as Bridezilla other than the quickie wedding brides...LOL.

Three weddings to the same person...she had to get her wedding license before the "big wedding" so she got married in Vegas first. Then their actual wedding was in Venice...and then the last wedding was a short ceremony and reception back home in CA where everyone could be.
Lotus#86
Awww, how thoughtful.

Then you could do three trash the dress sessions! That's one thing I wish I did last year, and I cringe thinking about trying to wear my dress again now!

What is that?? Ruin it so you don't have to worry about fitting into it later in life??

It's the new thing to do after your wedding. You book your photographer for a day after the wedding and takes photos where you don't have to worry about keeping the dress clean- a lot of people go to beaches or lakes and get in the water and get really messy with it. Google image it, there are some crazy ones (I have seen ones where they light the dress on fire).
