Behind the Screen: Summer Movies 2009

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Ooooh I love Rachel McAdams too. This looks neat, I'm a sucker for a good detective story.

I saw that trailer when I went to see Terminator yesterday, it looks really good! I also say a trailer for a Tim Burton movie called "9" that is about life after the end of humanity (or something like that), it looks really good...it comes out 9-9-09

This is going to sound stupid, But I kind of want to see Dance Flick. The commercials made me laugh. I hate the movie spoofs, but this one looks funny! I like the waynes brothers!

Sherlock Holmes is gonna suck. Hopefully Dance Flick is uploaded tomorrow. And I loved IGGYS thats my favorite Wayans movie.
Dartagnan#44
SD, I saw Terminator too! How did you feel about it? I actually have been dieing to see Sherlock Holmes.
Lotus#45
Rumor now has it that the trailer for The Final Destination will be shown with Drag Me To Hell.

I loved it...I didn't go in expecting much due to the bad reviews but I was impressed. I think I am in love with the guy who played Marcus Wright though, LOL. Moon Bloodgood is gorgeous.
Dartagnan#47
Haha SD. I liked it a lot, but was actually kind of let down because I expected a lot out of it. Moon Bloodgood is gorgeous and put on the best performance.

Haven't heard that one, but I heard it'll premiere at FANGORIA's WEEKEND OF HORRORS in early June. Either way, i'm excited for the new Final Destination....

Yeah she did. Christian Bale was okay...but nothing great imo.
Dartagnan#50
Yeah I was surprised Christian Bale didn't turn in his usually astounding performance.

no wonder he was being ********* on set...He must have known he sucked. LOL
Dartagnan#52
I know. I cannot believe he yelled at the set directors. Honestly.

Let's hope so cause they said the same thing last month and it didn't.

Hahah Christian Bale is one scary man! He always seems to whisper, but that scary batman whisper. I am not so excited to see Terminator. Not because the reviews were just OK, but it seems a bit boring. To the people who have seen, is it worth getting a ticket?

I enjoyed the movie, but it was free, my Boss paid so I couldn't say, LOL. I would watch it again online if I came across a decent version if that helps. I never go to the movies though so I guess my advice isn't that great, LOL.

That new Wayans movie looks stupid. I loved the first Scary Movie and White Chicks, but other than that their stuff has been blah. I still have to see the Star Trek movie. I never watched it when it came on tv b/c it seemed really strange and boring. Maybe b/c I was so young then. If Zoe Saldana is in it then it has to be good. I loved her in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Dartagnan#57
CrazyRealityGuy, I think if you are in the mood to watch an enjoyable movie, with some fun action, then yes, it is worth the ticket. But if you are a diehard Terminator fan, do not see it.
Lotus#58
I finally saw it and I agree. This movie was a travesty.

Dance Flick wasn't as bad as people may think it is. From the clips I've seen it looks very funny. Now, if it was Meet the Spartans, Date Movie and Epic Movie it would be different.
Dartagnan#60
I am sorry, but except for the first two Scary Movies, all of these spoofs are tragedies.
Lotus#61
Are you kidding? Scary Movie 1 and 3 were the best ones. And you can't really say it was bad if you haven't even watched the new one.
