Behind the Screen: The Really Bad Movies Thread

The reality TV landscape has never been more crowded or more diverse. From dating shows to competition series to docusoaps, networks and streamers are betting big on unscripted content.

What sets the great shows apart is their ability to create genuine moments — the kind of unscripted drama that no writer's room could manufacture. That's what keeps fans coming back.

"Three Amigos" is a movie from the 80's with Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short. I think it's hilarious, but it seems like it's become kind of a cult classic and not a mainstream favorite. I wondered if it was somehow an inspiration for the "Tres Amigos" thing. But I am a bit older than the RW cast so maybe it was before their time...

I guess I a wee-bit too young because I have never heard of that film. I might have to go check it out though.

The movie was pretty lame at the time, I'd be surprised if it has improved with age.

This action is too much to pass up. Three Amigos is not only bad, it is one of the worst movies of all time. It is the "Freddie got Fingered" of its generation! It was an epic, unfunny box office bomb that had massive expectations and failed on oh so many levels. When I see it on my on screen guide, I die a little inside. I feel bad for the children...

I thought i was going to love Three Amigos when i netflied it a few months ago, but i ended up hating it. Too long, too boring, and laughs were few and far between. Mixed Nuts and Sgt. Bilko are WAY better Steve Martin films....oh yeah, and THE JERK. The Jerk is superb!

A lot of people disagree with me but I think that Hairspray(newer version) sucked!

I remember seeing Dance Flick months ago. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Literally. I did not laugh at any of the scenes that were meant to be funny. A re-run of Thats So Raven on Disney Channel is probably more entertaining than Dance Flick...

I think that the karate kid is gonna BE ROADKILL. I mean that kid got the part cause of his father and to be honest the movie "Never Back Down" seems to be more like the Karate Kid instead of the new one coming out which really looks like straight up ***.

Pinata: Survival Island. Talk about *********] I watch some of that garbage movie at 2:00 AM when I get in from work sometimes, it's always a good laugh it's so awful.
RockSteadyVybes#22
Pinata: Survival Island. Talk about *********] This was pretty bad, but Charisma Carpenter's "Voodoo Moon" was even WORSE! At least Pinata Survival Island was tongue-in-cheek.

Has anybody seen Cruel World? Talk about MEGA CRAP!. The movie is about someone who went on a batchlor type reality show and lost. Produces his own and gets revenge by killing off his cast.

I remember the movie"The New Guy" with DJ Qualls very very vaguely. I think it was definitely one of the worst movie EVER.

The movie that comes to my mind was "The Knowing" with Nicholas Cage. The trailer was so good, but when I saw it, it was horrific.

Boogeyman SUCKED as did Wrong Turn 2 and 3. Never seen NV2 but I enjoyed Seed of Chucky. It's not meant to be taken seriously and is truely an awful movie, but that's why it's a good watch.
