I feel like you can tell how sincere an apology is by how you react when people don't accept it. I think that if you did something wrong, and people aren't quick to forgive you, and you truly feel bad for what you did you understand their reluctance. Frank looked annoyed that Zach didn't immediately jump for joy and accept his apology so I'm not sure if I buy that we're going to see any change in the near future.

Sam and Nate are my favorites so far.

Frank couldn't have given an apology that Zach would have accepted, beyond - I've found God and now I'm straight. I'm not saying Frank offered a great apology, but let's not beat around the bush. If anyone would think that Zach would be cool with a guy that sleeps with men in his presence, they are crazier than drunk Frank.

From favorite to least favorite 1. Alexandra 2. Sam (she is the Leroy of this season) 3. Priscilla (love her this episode, she is growing on me by being so open mind it and with her little random rhetorical questions LOL) 4. Nate 5. Zach 6. Frank ( he is like Emile from Cancun on twitter, for some reason I can't feel sorry for him at all. He is such a drama queen) 7. Ashley (omg! She reminds me of Mandi personality wise, she is blah, doesn't make facial expressions, boring, most of the time I forget that she is even there)

Oh I absolutely agree. I'm talking purely about the sincerity of the apology, not whether or not Zach would have or should have accepted it.

I feel bad for judging Nate so harshly. He's really a good guy and I'm glad he's changing for the better. He's just never been exposed to this and I understand where he is coming from now. Zach on the other hand....

We are all doing this on an per episode basis. We don't know the entire story to be told on the series, let alone the real story. So, there is nothing wrong with sharing your thoughts in moderation based on the information you have, if you know that there is more information to come. While I know a lot about the individual stories before and beyond the show - I like to react the the episodes individually and then grow as an audience member toward the terminus. That is what makes this show fun.

Man, Nate isn't having any of this. That's why I like him.

It's sad that a 19 year old was the most mature in the whole episode O.o

I hate to jump to conclusions, but I think Zach will be my least favorite roommate of all time, especially if he goes on to do challenge after challenge after challenge. This episode proved that he is just so close-minded and that he has Ashley wrapped around his finger. I think he is smart because he knows that he would get a lot of **** for straight up saying that he has a problem with Frank's sexuality so he blamed it on "disrespect" which I think was a motive of the anger, but was not the whole thing. Was it just me of does the cast seem very separated, especially this episode? It seemed like Ashley and Zach are butt buddies and the rest just tolerate each other. Anyways, I wish Priscilla, Nate, and Sam were on different seasons because I really like them, but I pretty much despise everyone else. This episode makes me not want to watch the rest of the season, tbh.

All these years of lurking and it is this episode that makes me post. I think it is because I don't see anyone as the bad guy (rarely do on The Real World) and was very pleased to see the mature behavior exhibited by 3 individuals. Those people would be Priscilla, Sam, and Alexandria. Priscilla, in particular, nailed it early on when she commented on Nate and Zach's behaviors in the vehicle. I am not one for the handholding a grown up through their trepidation with race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. or whatever hangup it is that leads to such "ewww" responses. What Zach and Nate seemed to think of as typical bonding behavior came across as behavior rooted in an aversion to sexual orientation. It doesn't matter that Frank was not there for regardless it was sad and embarrassing to see persons their age display such nonsensical and frankly offensive reactions. Zach and Nate's behaviors became progressively disturbing as the episode carried on. Zach was particularly telling in his comments to Ashley about not wanting to see the man Frank brought home. I just don't see him saying that if it was a woman. Ashley's response was the same and she continues to come across poorly. Nate's behaviors were more blatant. His cutting off of Frank for 3 days is an extremely poor response which does just as much harm as saying a derogatory slur. The show had conveyed a bond between Frank and Nate so one can only imagine how brutal that must have felt for Frank for Nate to avoid Frank and to stop sleeping in their shared room. The image of Nate in the hot tub with the woman he had brought home was a solid job of showing how hypocritical Nate was being (that this is okay but Frank's making out is not). That said Frank's behavior was poor in leaving a condom in the shower (a disrespectful act no matter who someone is having sex with). He also is an alltime bad drunk and while he was pissed at Nate's behavior (and imo understandably so) that kind of confrontation is scary for everyone. Maybe Frank is transferring hostility to his father to anyone who he thinks is wronging him. However while sometimes he is in the right to question there seems to be moments where his contentions are wrongheaded (his anomisity to Alexandria being in a relationship). I was glad at the end. Don't know if it will last but was glad Frank owned up to being in the wrong with the tantrum and apologizing. Was also glad Nate owned up to acting like a homophobe and apologizing. Frank needs to chill on the drinking and Nate needs to chill on the overt aversion he demonstrates because Frank has sex with men. I like the moments of revelation and maybe my favorite was when Frank was acting like a jerk and breaking vases and yelling at Nate that Nate seemed to understand what it was about. As for Zach, I have to say that at this point pretty much almost everything he says hits the wrong nerve for me. I keep wanting to give him a chance. It can be over the top (like the barely contained disgust at homosexuality) or subtle (he doesn't owe it to Frank to accept his apology but he also does not need to play knight in shining armor and tell Frank he needs to apologize to the women which he already had - I think Sam, Priscilla and Alexandria don't need his I am Thor nonsense). It is almost always annoying. While Frank and Nate may have been the focus in this episode, Zach was the one who seemed to add that extra touch of offputting. At this point, it would be nice to see more of what goes on with Sam and Priscilla and Alexandra (where it is not about Frank). It would also be nice if they cut down the focus on Frank and Nate. But most of all, any scene with the close minded Zach and the void that is Ashley seems to be a waste of time.

I agree this time around i am like the girls more than the guys with the exception of zach's pet. Priscilla, alexandra and Sam are so respectful and mature towards other people choices.

3 episodes and all I can see of Frank is that he's a 100% total loser when he's drunk. When he's sober, he's better... but he doesn't seem like some awesome guy. He seems - OK. Tolerable in small doses, maybe. I don't know how strong Zach's feelings about Frank's sexuality are... but I can totally understand him not wanting to be all drdruafterschoolspecialrealworldwemustgrow with Frank... after the 3rd... 4th... 5th time he has these incidents.

Also, i really like Sam. But I am confused about her. So like does she have a ******, but she dresses like a guy, but she is attracted to girls? So is she a lesbian? If she's on a challenge, i could see her doing well. I'm just a little confused about her orientation. Also, when she is making out with those incredible hot girls, do the girls think that sam is a guy? or do they know she's a girl?

He never had sex on Nates bed, it was in just their room.

This was pretty boring. Though I wonder why the cast didn't smell Frank's **** lol. Its cool though. Excited for next week

I have to say that the cast is really, really growing on me. With the exception of Zach Ashley. As always, this might change in the future, and I can only judge from what I've seen, but until now both of them are two-faced, close-minded, hypocritical people. Sam, Nate, Priscilla and Alexandra are really cool, and I really like to see how Nates and Franks friendship evolves. Frank on the other hand apparently is in a very difficult situation with his life, his perspective on himself, and so on. And on top of that he is a horrible (!!) drunk and makes it really hard to feel compassionate for him. I still see where he is coming from, though.
