Behind the Screen: The Real World: Ex-Plosion - San Francisco (2013) - The

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

He was home for like a week apparently after this happened. I haven't watched this episode (nor do I intend to watch any of this show) so I don't know how they made it seem

I'm actually really mad they voted her out. This is messed up. This was a great chance for her to learn about how her behavior is destructive and how she can better herself.
Yeah that wasn't gonna happen no matter how long she stayed there

I think voting her off was the wrong way to deal with the problem. They needed to have a true, real talk with her and explain how her destructive her behavior was. I mean, they were like 3 weeks into the whole thing! I think this could've been a great opportunity for her to step back and take a look at her actions and hopefully take some steps to changing for the better.

Yall need to calm down... I think she returns... Remember in the trailer Jenny told Ashley that someone was pregnant... We haven't seen that yet so I think she does return.
Calinks#66
Yea I dont like the voting her off and now they are just dumping her. If Nia got to stay after the crap she pulled and people gave her a chance I would think Ashley would get another chance. I don't know how she vanished in the first place anyway though.

By the way, thank goodness Thomas cut his hair on the show aftershow.

It was weird how she just got voted out for basically just being a drunk but GOOD RIDDANCE ASHLEY.

Few things about this episode: I felt so bad for Jay. That really got to me, and I thought it was great how the roommates responded to it. Secondly, I think the vote-off was weak. Ashley should have at least been present for it. So stupid. Also, I actually really like Tom and I really cannot stand Jamie so I hate that they're together. And lastly, I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually give props to Ashley for essentially deciding to leave. I don't know if she is actually taking any steps to grow or whatever, but obviously being in that house wasn't helping her. And also, I kind of thought it was ****ty the way everyone spun it like Ashley took the last few days Jay had to talk to his mother away from him. She shouldn't have ripped up the pages, but it definitely wasn't a malicious thing. And considering the circumstances of Jay's situation, I sort of felt like it was guilt-trippy the way they said that. I absolutely 100% feel terribly for Jay and wish he could have had more days to speak with his mother as well, but I don't know I can't really explain it. And because it can't be said enough, Jamie sucks.

Arielle is so annoying right now. "I don't hear sincerity in your voice". She's practically trying to keep the house like how Portland would've been without Nia. Like you are not Mother Hen...
Yo, I have respect for you so wanted to hop on. To me: the whole thing sounded rehearsed and that pissed me off. Jay went through something horrible and it didn't look like she cared. - Mother Hen

Glad we are on the same page and I respect you as a fellow cast member but the "she" is Ashley right? She cried when she first heard so people just wanted to hate on her. Jamie can sit there and talk **** all she wants with he ******* nasty *** gauges. Asian male please. >

I concur with this poster. Real Mature guys. And Arielle needs to chill. So what if she didn't recognize Ashley's infliction at the reunion. It's her place/on her just like Ashley M. pointed out. In short, excellente series so far. Daisuki da yo (Love ko to!!)

Are people really buying that Ashley asked for a vote on her own accord? That is production. Whether it was production making Ashley ask for a vote so she could return to the house or production making Ashley ask for a vote so she could leave the show with a storyline either way the asking for a vote was all production.

Finally catching the episode... I'm not going to lie when the roommates found out Jay's mom died I thought that was real annoying that Cory broke something. It honestly felt like he was trying to take from Jay's moment. I know he likely wasn't but it seemed so extra. I loved the Ashley's purse montage and the one about her leaving home every second also.

I'm curious to know how long the Exes knew they were coming before they showed up.
Npresh24#91
I kinda wish Jay ended up staying back in The Bronx , I would have accepted the L to the show losing both Ashley and Jay in the same episode with the prospect of hoping these Exes turn up. I'm more and more said this bish Jamie gets off scott free cause Cameron Liddel was touring -__-.
