That's probably exactly why they wanted him to go first. I don't think the stereotype was on their mind. The basket seemed big enough that anyone could have actually made them if they were standing on the final ring.

That was my first thought as to why everyone started saying his name. Sure, he's the team whipping boy, but they still seemed a little too quick to nominate the lone black person on the show to shoot baskets.

Tyler said nothing along the lines of your going to shoot the balls in the basket because your black. He might be good at basketball, but I just don't think Tyler sees race in this aspect of competition.
