Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Cut Throat - Episode 6 Discussion

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I'm not sure which is gonna be more interesting, Abram showing his hoops skills or Johnny being mistaken as a Yorkshire Terrier...

Dunbar got a little "rubby" with Chet there...

The red team is looking pretty enormous over all the other teams. I actually wouldn't mind seeing some of them go home.

Yay Chet's back. The Red team is still 9 strong... Yay...

I've never seen so many people happy to have dead weight back on their team. Makes sense though, considering the majority of the red team is dead weight.

I think they are solid.

Poor Chet :(

Teressa Theresa should be very good at this challenge. Since she did play basketball at marquette she should be good at basketball.

I like how Brandon never hangs out with his team, it's usually the blue team members and now Luke. Ugh oh...it's TJ...
Clarke#11
TJ's back...

It's about time that the game has got to Johnny!

Just because someone played basketball previously doesn't mean they will be able to perform well in the challenge, in my opinion.

This challenge has a lot to do with basketball though.

If the challenge has to do with basketball or something along those lines, it has to help a little :D

Yeah but usually you don't play basketball on suspended rings...
RMD1#18
This can't be good news for Chet.

You still have basic skills that help out.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was thinking when I typed that :D
RMD1#21
That feeling must be the worst.

If Theresa has ever played basketball on suspended rings before then yes it will help her out. I never said she was bad, just that it necessarily doesn't mean it will help her out.

I think Chet's years without being able to touch himself have left him unaware of how sensitive things are down there...cause I'd definitely rather leave a challenge than get circumcised with a rusty spoon.

Still, gonna be a lot different when you have to use only your arms and no legs. Poor Chet, I don't like him, but it sucks to go home like this when you really had no control over it.

Man, what a kick to the nads. He's on one of the stronger teams and thinks he's in the clear.... nope! Sucks to be Chet.
Clarke#26
Ha! Wow, Chet went home before Brandon - the red team's scapegoat. Hopefully it all goes downhill from here.
fabulous788#27
I was actually liking Chet this time around...

I understand that. I just think it gives you a slight advantage on certain skills, like aim.

Knowing her team, they probably won't even let her be the one that gets to shoot.

Hopefully Derrick does well on this challenge. He was also a basketball player so he and Theresa should do well.

Seems like a cool mission from the explanation.
