Ok. After really examining the episode, I totally get a gay vibe between frank and Zach. I think at least frank has feelings for Zach and Zach is merely entertaining his affections back.

Frank and Zach remind me of Tyler and Johnny. Thats all I'm saying.

He started stuff for no reason, it was mainly him being a drunken idiot. I'm from the Los Angeles area, and there's a large gay population in Hollywood (particularly in West Hollywood). I've grown up with gay people around me and one thing I've noticed that a select number of them do (obviously, this doesn't mean all of them) is make an effort to prove specific straight men are gay. They will go out of their way to tell everyone "he can't be straight because A, B, and C..." or something to that extent. Now, I know that Dustin did his whole frat house thing, but I hear there are a lot of gay for pay actors in ****. Apparently it pays more, and if you're from a messed up house with not a lot of money, why not have sex for money and have fun while doing it? Some people really enjoy sex. Point I'm trying to make, though, is that it isn't uncommon for an LGBT member to go out of their way an call a hetero person a derogatory gay term or whatever. (Hey, we saw Preston call Ryan a ****** on B2NOLA). As far as Frank and Zach's bromance goes, I don't think it's all that contrived. I remember the end of one episode of RW B2SD involved Ashley and Zach accompanying Frank to some clothing store where Zach dressed in incredibly gay clothing and was having a good time. I can believe that he's opened his mind to the idea that gay people are okay. Isn't that the point of the Real World (other than getting hammered every night)? Remember Coral and Mike on Back to NY? Mike was incredibly uneducated and ignorant when it came to black history, and Coral made it an effort to educate him about it. Now they're like best friends and had each others backs on the challenges they went on together. People change. :D

Zach isn't a homophobe, I think he just couldn't stand Frank. Now he's nice to Frank because my guess is, they both have big problems with Ashley, because Ashley dumped him. What I wonder is why...I saw that relationship lasting a while, but guess not.

Very true. I don't think Frank is good athletic at all. He is in good team but that's it. Half of past guys in this season would beat him.

Why do you think Zach is a homophobe? The only thing I remember him saying was “I’ll beat the gay out of you”, and I definitely think that was homophobic, but I don’t think he’s a homophobe. And their friendship doesn’t seem fake to me. I wouldn’t call it a bromance yet, but they’ve obviously worked on their friendship. I agree, Frank is being really stupid and rude insulting Dustin, but when has Frank been a rational person, let’s been honest here. By the way, the censor thing didn't work lol.

I think he is/was a homophobe cause he was so uncomfortable around gays and him and Ashley didn't wana go to Sam's gay thing (sorry can't remember what it was) and come on, in this day and age who the F is still that uncomfortable around gay people, he was so freaked out when Frank was with his bf. I can understand he was an 80 year old Christian man but this guy is just a bully and Frank is just a moron period. Don't go saying be tolerant of others then go and treat others bad for doing something gay, I don't get why gay men call other men ****** as an insult either.

Frank is so obnoxious and vile. He clearly has a drinking problem and after acting the way he acted on his season you would think perhaps he'd learn and grow from seeing himself on tv and try to change his behavior......the premiere of BOTSeasons showed he's exactly the same and still likes to get belligerently drunk and rude for screen time. It sucks cause I actually like the San Diego team but Frank just ruins it for me. He's just absolutely repulsive in the way he acts and treats people.

I'll put my 2 cents in about Frank. He honestly didn't bother me that much. I mean yeah he did come off looking like an idiot getting into it with Robb and Wes but to tell you the truth I didn't mind it...although I have a feeling I'm going to end up hating him later on in the season. For now I don't mind him.

Yea I didn't watch much of SD but I did watch the episodes that focused on LGBT issues, and I can't believe I felt bad for that guy. I really thought he was being sincere about wanting people to accept him and be tolerant of his lifestyle and I felt bad for him when Zach was acting like he's gross. But now screw him. You can't say I'm so anti-bullying yet go pick on Dustin and the girls. Like I'm sure Heather has heard enough crap about Dustin from others on Twitter, it's getting old. I don't think Frank is pissed about Dustin's lifestyle. I get the feeling that he will be annoyed that Dustin lies and has lied about what went down on that Fratpad show. Frank probably feels that Dustin's some kind of disgrace tothe gay community. Or something like that.

THIS. In the clip that MTv posted last week, it looked like they were getting into it because Dustin was talking crap about Frank and Derek kissing. It feels like he's calling him out on being a hypocrite and an *** much the way Mike did on that RW season.

The only thing that bothered me about them was the way they acted about service members being honored. Those people fight for their freedom and they're big jokes to them just because they're gay?

Not being tolerant of intolerance is not the same thing as not being tolerant of gay people. Gay people don't control their attractions. People like Dustin can stop their annoying, homophobic, and overcompensating behavior. Big difference there. AND I think Dustin's attitude is what caused it based on a clip posted by MTV last week. I didn't watch their season but I don't get how anyone is defending Frank based on everything that has been said. Zach and Ashley apparently got along with some guy that was gay on the show which would indicate they're not intolerant of gays. Maybe they just simply hated Frank or the way he acted or countless other things. Also, I have friends that are gay but I would never go to anything dealing with "gay rights" because I would be uncomfortable there as would many people that are tolerant. Take anyone out of their normal environment and they're typically uncomfortable. That's normal. Just from the premier I absolutely can't stand Frank. He seems like an awful person regardless of his sexuality. I wouldn't support anything he did. Pretty sure he'll fight with everyone at some point. He even attacked Sam's girlfriend during his drunken tirade. Again, Frank = awful human being.

Are you kidding? 90% of this board is up Zach's butt and was even during the season. It just seems like people have to reiterate how uncomfortable with gays they are (for the THOUSANDTH time) when ever the SD season comes up and it's obnoxious. And this is coming from someone who hated Frank.

I'm assuming based on the clip MTV posted last week. AND I am the only person who has this viewpoint. Everyone else is "OMG hang frank!". I'm not "people", I'm one person.
