Behind the Screen: Survivor: Winners at War - We're In The Majors

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Rob is way to over hyped and idk why he is considered the best player ever if it took him 4 seasons to win. Basically because he ran circles around the entire all stars cast...

I mean you gotta watch the seasons these ppl came from lol. Like of course Parvati wouldn’t do what she’s done in the past...

This happens any real all stars season. All stars 1 every winner went out pre merge. Like big names are gonna be screwed 9 out of 10 times.

Also I love Rob but I don’t think many have him that high.

Exactly. HvV is the lone exception for all star seasons because there was a perfect mix of characters & players, and a bunch of the "characters" played their roles and left early(Sugar, Randy, Coach, Courtney, etc.). For returning player seasons to really work it has be as even of a playing field as possible like Cambodia, Micronesia & Caramoan. This is why I hope next returnee season is Second Chances 2 and then 50 is legends with an entire cast of big names and big targets

I mean production had extinction for this exact reason lol. We're probably going to see it every returning player season

I'd be fine with it if we had longer episodes to go along with it, what's the point of having all these legends on their own island getting at most 5 minutes of screentime a week?

I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed. As an old school viewer seeing all the old school players go one after the other has been unfortunate. There are plenty of players I enjoy still in the game, but I'm not sure how excited I am about all the extinction players fighting for what is presumed to be one spot. Also not sure how I feel about fire tokens. I guess it will make more sense in future seasons, but currently, as an unknown, I'm not sure how I am supposed to feel about their value.

That explains Game Changers as well. But that cast was random and looked like they were chosen from a hat.
