Yeah same. The same shit with Big Brother.
It's like they don't have faith in their own cast of newbies. Survivor and BB fans come back for the show, not for returning players. And in most cases, those returning fan favorites end up just becoming annoying to the viewers.

they cater to them as well because they want to get back on the investment. Maybe 1 or 2 newbies will push through it’s just annoying

I liked Micronesia even though it was half and half. Other than that it’s never worked though. Russell vs Rob in redemption island sucked,as did Ozzy vs Coach in South Pacific, and Caramoan was bad . Philippines was okay despite the three returnees I guess.

Philippines, Blood vs. Water and Micronesia were the only seasons that were good that featured a mixed cast. However, Philippines doesn't really count since the season was good in spite of the returnees rather than because of them.

Totally agreed. I forgot about the first blood vs water. I also didn’t mind steph and bobby Jon being given a chance to return in Guatemala.

Someone on Reddit did some social media stalking and came to the conclusion of Chrissy, Carolyn, and Malcolm. They said there's less evidence for Malcolm and Carolyn. These are possibilities. Maybe it's a robbed goddess season

Carolyn wasn’t used so Sierra could do it on 34. And second chances gave us Joe and Shirin who casuals probably adore so they voted them. Really not missing much with Carolyn even if I’d be ok with her coming back.

Her idol play was great, her knowledge of the game will definitely secure her a returnee spot. I just can’t see her winning due to age, with how many 20 year olds they cast now it’s harder for older people to win.

I’m kinda upset they’re using Malcom so soon, unless Season 40 is all winners. He’s one of my favorites so I don’t want his 4th show happening already since that’s the max ATM. They’ll eventually let someone play a 5th time

I would actually be into this idea if they cast people who left pre-jury who were big characters and “robbed”, like Stephanie, Ali, Figgy, Peter, etc.
