Behind the Screen: Survivor: San Juan del Sur - This Is Where We Build Tru

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Was it good? How cool would it be if it happened again.

The promo said " it was only the second time in survivor history" then showed the rock draw from blood vs water.

So practically they aired the same promo as last year. I really hope it wasn't a mistake and we actually get to see another rock drawing.

Yeah it might have been just a mistake but I thought I'd mention it just in case lol sorry if I got anyone's hopes up.

Hmmm that's pretty interesting, maybe Natalie goes with Reed/Alec/Keith to take out Jon, but I can't see Nat putting herself in that kind of situation.

It could have just been a mistake tho.

The only scenario I could see that happening is if Natalie flips. Maybe Jon/Jaclyn/Missy/Baylor vote for Reed and Natalie/Reed/Keith/Alec vote for Jon. No one changes their votes in the revote and Jaclyn draws the white rock. I honestly have a gut feeling it's Jaclyn and Reed this week getting the boot.

Yeah maybe I'm overthinking this too haha. Should be interesting

The different preview I saw showed Jaclyn angry and telling Jon not to touch her so maybe she flipped on them. Or it was just a mistake lol

I seriously doubt she went to the boys. At this point I think the promo was a mistake and there's no rock-drawing.

Yeah it probably was lol I blame CBS.

The next episode is 2 episodes back to back (like the premiere of Cagayan) so it's going to be 2 HOURS long.

YESSSSSSSS i'm so excited. This season really picked up at the merge and I just have a gut feeling we're gonna have an explosive finale. Oh my God I love this show so much. I don't want it to ever end.

One hour is not enough for me, so I'm glad we're getting two episodes back to back. To be honest I'm more excited about this season than I was for last season. Last week's episode was better than every Cagayan episode, though Cagayan was more consistent.

I ******* love Cagayan and it's my favorite season, but last week's episode was soooo good. The immunity challenge was to die for and Tribal Council was crazy, even though the result was anti-climatic.

timster3#18

Yeah please DO NOT disrespect Cagayan. But yes this tribal was pretty good and confusing at the same time. This season I find myself constantly reading the wikipedia voting charts over & over because the votes are so split up and I can't remember who voted who.

I bad mouth Caramoan all the time, but the one moment I really loved was when Malcolm pulled out those idols, it was another one of those frantic TC moments.

Fresh Meat#20

This episode was good, but the Cagayan merge is still better than any other episode this season. Sarah's downfall, Kass emerging, Tony/Sarah, Trish playing Kass like a fiddle, probably the best post-HvV TC.

Predictable episode. Editing wasn't very good at confusing, given the way they edited the Jeremy boot episode.

Reed's plan was awful from the get go.  One of them was inevitably going home and any non-meathead player would've played the idol in that situation.

Though it was surprising to see that Natalie was the biggest winner this episode.
