Behind the Screen: Survivor: San Juan del Sur - Million Dollar Decision

Since its debut in 2000, Survivor has defined the reality competition genre with its mix of physical endurance, social strategy, and raw human drama. Jeff Probst's iconic tribal councils remain appointment television.

With the new era of shorter seasons and evolving twists, Survivor continues to reinvent itself while maintaining the core survival elements that have kept fans engaged across 50 seasons and counting.

I didn't really care for Josh these last few episodes, but watching that video reminded me how much I appreciated him being on the show and playing the game. I hope he's one of the returnees from this season (though this is probably a very unpopular opinion LOL). Along with maybe Jeremy too.

*vomits*

At least you acknowledged it as unpopular!

I just think he will be better without Reed there with him.

A lot of people wanna see him back actually. I don't see the problems with Josh, he's definitely one of the people in contention to return with Jeremy, Baylor, Keith, and Jon.

I disliked Josh but he is definitely someone I want to see return. He can def add a lot in an all star season IMO as well as Jeremey if he doesn't win. I wouldn't want Baylor back especially since I feel like she is similar to Ciera and Ciera is most likely a shoe in to get asked back.

Josh is disliked because he's a gamebot. That's the difference between him and Jeremy. They both get a lot of air time but half of Jeremy's confessionals are somewhat entertaining rants or stories. Josh is just all game all the time and it's quite boring. And it doesn't help that he resembles Cochran a bit and he was running the game. No one likes predictable seasons.

Ok Josh is boring, but Cochran is gross, delusional, contrived, annoying and these are all things Josh is not. I don't think he was that bad though, his scene with Keith on EI was nice. If we're gonna dislike gamebots, Spencer wss a huge one in all of Cagayan. He wasn't in control but he was legit all about game and people adored him, though I think Josh is mostly disliked here.

Ciera was never this disliked by her tribe and was way better at the game. Baylor is more like a modern Eliza iko.

That was just the laugh I needed before bed.

Eh Spencer did talk mostly game but I wouldn't necessarily say he was robotic. He still showed personality and he was an underdog and that helped him out x100000 with the viewers. The story might've been different if Josh was the underdog, but when you control the entire game, get half the air time, and you're unenthusiastic you're not gonna have many fans.

Mr. LurkerNoMore you better finish this season! Don't get me into this show and then bail on me!

I really don't remember him showing much of any personality.
