Behind the Screen: Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X - May the Best Generati

Since its debut in 2000, Survivor has defined the reality competition genre with its mix of physical endurance, social strategy, and raw human drama. Jeff Probst's iconic tribal councils remain appointment television.

With the new era of shorter seasons and evolving twists, Survivor continues to reinvent itself while maintaining the core survival elements that have kept fans engaged across 50 seasons and counting.

Word. A lot of these kids were doing the most and really hammering in this generational crap. I get it's the theme, but I don't have to hear it every two seconds.

This season has Worlds Apart written all over it, seeing as production loved it.

gen x team racist af. the voting for the 1 girl was justified, but for the black girl? no justification at all.

Lmao **** you only know what the edit showed.

I was also lost on Cece getting all those votes - all I could think of was because she was hanging out with the crazy chick that left and maybe something went down that they didn't show us.

Funny how unless someone has at least hinted at race that doesn't occur to me. I recall thinking when they showed they two  of them being hush hush, careful of the company you keep Cece...lay down with dogs - wake up with fleas

Im surprised they bring back Lil to play again.

My queen Cece better not be a second boot.

Zeke will have 90 or just 80 confs by end of the season? can smell nim being edited as  a over the top character by a mile

Is this season worth a watch?

Just by the first episode...not really. Too many boring/basic people and they kept ramming home the ******* theme..Like we get it Gen X vs Millenials. No need to keep talking about it.

The first couple episodes they always try to hammer the theme.. It gets people watching initially.. After that it'll probably calm down

they didn't show it, but you could tell from who voted for who that the tribe split the votes on Cece and Rachel (girls voted for Cece and guys for Rachel), just incase Rachel had already found the idol, since idol paranoia had already been swirling around camp. And since Cece and Rachel were clearly on the outs that's who the tribe had as their back up

Perhaps. With Second Chances, they really hammered it quite often, especially with Stephen whom's confensionals always mentioned that this is his second chance and he needs to make big moves. I'm sure there is going to be one or two characters they're use to drive the theme through most of the season. I guess it was just more noticeable because of they sorta cheesy theme.
