I think the intent was to flush the idol as well. Doubt she would have been upset to see Joe go home...

She didn't know either way, so she got rid of the swing vote to be safe. She didn't know who he'd vote for so she cut his power, leaving it a fair fight, remeber she knew about Joe's idol, and he'd be more likely to play it in a tie. 

So what you're saying to me is that she is trying to flush out Joe's idol, at the same time, saving the healers. If true, and I wouldn't put it pass the mission to flush his idol. Kudos to Jess, savage move.

i dont see how trying to fullfill the strategic part of the game means that someone is copying gameplay.

Exactly like the twist or disadvantage was a flop. Like whyyyyy even do that, they gotta stop. 4-5 idols a season and none being special and call it a season. I don't mind the take a vote from someone twist or double vote towards like final 8 but other than that keep it simple and let people play the game. 

Devin is also a flop. Like why still work with Ashley??? If they lose he guaranteed atleast another couple days until they maybe swap teams again or something. You stick with her and you could lose from rocks. It's stupid imo  and Ashley has like no game.
