Behind the Screen: Survivor: Edge of Extinction - Need a Dance Partner

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I'm finding it hard to buy into the stakes of tribal council when everyone that gets voted off just heads over to extinction island for a second chance. Not a fan of this twist...

why not just have redemption island. I guess Jeff didnt want his obvious rigging for Joe to be THAT noticeable...

Being in control but still under the radar enough to remain undiscussed. I cant believe the 4 of david, kelley, lauren and rick really let Wardog say “I need 15 mins to think this out”. They shoulda came together and blindsided him. But once again hes playing good enough to not be a huge target .. impressive

Honestly, the twist hasn't really done much yet so I don't care about it either way...I want to see how it plays out

I don’t care about the twist as much as I thought I was gonna. The only thing I don’t like is how much time they’re spending on all the eliminated people.

I like how they're doing close ups for the confessionals on extinction island, kind of reminds me of old old seasons like Borneo where it felt more like a documentary

That's kind of what I am getting at. People are not being voted out, just put into the extinction island tribe. We are 4 episodes in and not a single person has left the game meaning we still have to deal with all of them.

They aren't giving them much air time honestly so it doesn't bother me...yet anyway.
