That won't happen in modern survivor. Plus I'd like to see people really fight for it vs relying on advantages to get by. This is a social game and people would be forced to use their social abilities to throw anyone utb to save themselves which would be great tv at tribal. No idols would be a one time change. It wouldn't ever happen again. Let us watch the players really fight to be on top.

When did survivor start to 'change' into what it is now? What season did it become modern survivor? Asking as a mf who never watches your show because I thought it was boring af when it aired while I was in middle school. Specifically the cook islands season or w/e tf it was called. That's Season 13. Survivor has a lot of ebbs and flows in quality. If you're looking to jump back in, I'd recommend Season 28: Cagayan. That's very modern but very exciting and character driven too.

also it's not technically up to jeff on 26 days vs 39. he had said something about they can only have the land a certain amount of time now or somethin so even if they wanted to, they'd have to fight w fiji govt to go back to 39 days. plus w all the production that goes on, if they can make the same show at a cheaper cost, why wouldn't they.

I agree don't see the point, same with like Ozzy and Rupert it's just not necessary. Suppose a good reason for her though is there's only so many old school women of colour worth having on 50.

There are plenty. Might not be legendary but oh well.
Who are the LOCKS for 50? Meaning you KNOW they were called, a part of the top 50, and they WILL accept the invite, and there's no way they'll be dropped last minute for a season 49 freak. Lets build a cast of 18 spread across all eras.
I'll start, continue my list. Don't be stupid and add legends you know we won't see back (Boston Rob, Sandra, Parvati, etc.). ASSUME seasons 41+ are going to be preferred by production. ASSUME it will mostly be 1st time returnees. ASSUME people who went on other TV shows are BLACKLISTED except Carolyn. (So no Shan sadly).
