Hardly anyone has won because they were a comp beast. It's almost always been because they were either A) strategically the best,

What guys? Rocksroy and Mike are only two people. Omar, Lindsay, Maryanne, Drea, Hai, Chanelle, Tori, and Romeo don't see him as an intelligent player. And all the negative SPV he's been getting about how inept he is as a strategic player pretty much deads him in the edit. The only person he can realistically beat is Romeo in a surprise F2 and I just don't see that pairing even happening.
It's Xander all over again. He's not a good player. He's just pretty and white and good at challenges.
It's odd Johnathan hasn't been targeted (well voted off) because typically even if a strong competitor sucks at everything else they're sent packing first opportunity...at least in recent Survivor history.

I don't know why they couldnt just voted Jonathan out instead of Hai he could of easily been voted out later since he's not a threat during challenges and pretty much everyone was against him.
there are arguments for voting both out. the longer hai is in the more suspecting he would be that he's next. he was completely not expecting this so they go for the big blindside opposed to jonathan

Yes, the gameplay doesn't feel restricted to just twists/advantages which was my concern since it's bloated with those.
