If it was indeed Sylvia and Jason then they definitely would've been scruntinized no doubt about it. Nicole is all about bygones be bygones as she said in other episodes but she's shown favortism from the jump.

The wait that Bruno acted towards everybody in the house a couple of episodes ago, throwing things and threatening physical violence against the women as well as Tony and his brother, but Nicole let's that slide just shows maybe Jason wasn't wrong about her treating them differently.
