About:
Just up the river from our nation’s capital lies a hidden gem—Potomac, Maryland. Its rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools, and exclusive country clubs all serve to keep the area invitation-only. Sprinkled throughout this community are a handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families who have historically broken racial barriers to provide a life of privilege for their children. The Real Housewives of Potomac follows the upscale lives of six intriguing, well-to-do women: Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, all of whom have fought for their places in this society by way of legacy or marriage. In a town where entry is granted only through class, pedigree, and lineage, how far will these ladies go to secure their spot at the top of this prestigious circle?

Me either. I heard about this months ago and thought it was a joke. But we're getting this and Dallas in 2016. This premieres after Atlanta's timeslot so I expect it to do well.

However, I love the fact that they ALL have money and jewels! Successful husbands. What a housewife should be let alone a black one.

However, I love the fact that they ALL have money and jewels! Successful husbands. What a housewife should be let alone a black one. 

It looks decent but it was missing the vacations, galas, and over-the-top parties in the trailer. I hope they step it up!

True. Season 1 will be decent then I'm sure a few ladies will be replaced and we'll get more over-the-top glamour. I just wonder how they'll replace women on this show since most of the world has never heard of Potomac.

We got Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Dallas, New Jersey, New York, Orange County, and then there's Potomac. LOL

omg picture black women in Orange County/New York! TV gold...

and the trailer missed a lot of housewife traditions.. like the vacations/the actual introductions into the wifes/the annual parties but who knows though it didnt look bad to say the least.

I finally got around to watching the first episode and I like it overall but it had dry spots which is expected from the first season. Gizelle is my favorite and then after that it's Robin and Karen. Charisse is the worst out the bunch in terms of personality and looks which is funny because she brings up the ghetto and Section 8 every five minutes.
