Yup. I think this is going to be a rough four years given Trump can't be reelected, so he's doing everything. The only good thing about him bypassing Congress and ruling with executive orders is that it can be undone by the next President.

Do you think he will even allow another election? "In 4 years, you wont have to vote again" is very worrisome. Im hearing alot of this parallels preWW2 Germany. The fact that so much progress has been undone in one week is very concerning. Imagine the destruction in 4 yrs or longer.

Last time I was shocked every day but this time nothing will surprise me and that includes Trump finding a way to fight to stay in office after 4 years. Have already heard about legal citizens getting rounded up "accidentally". Buckle up yall and try stick your head out of the every day chaos/news this orange man is bringing.

i am very much torn because I am sick of hearing about this, and I want to be like the ignorant stupid people who dont care. But its very frightening because the people I love the most in life are in danger and they didnt do anything wrong. (And no they never supported that man either) I feel like its my duty since I have white priviledge, I need to speak up against the injustices so I cant turn a blind eye. And this is just the beginning... but I am glad that there are some like minded people here.

It's hard to balance wanting to keep up with wtf is going on every damn day but also wanting to have a peace of mind because it's a lot every single day so make sure you disconnect from the socials/news cycles here and there to take a breather. Boutta be a lonngggg term.

How can the president of the Klan have my interests in mind. But Trump is "real" and "isn't a politician". That's all it takes for some folks is for someone to bash transgender people and talk like they have a 7th grade education to get your vote, huh?

Your last sentence ate because I feel like Black people have gotten too comfortable talking about black issues in front of white folk. Some things it's good for them to understand our perspective, other topics need to stay in the group chat. Now they use this against us as ammo. There is a time and place for certain conversation.
