4 male / female teams competed for $1 million in a giant maze with 3 challenges Sunday night on MTV.  Kind of surprising they'd give away such a large prize in just a 30 minute reality show.

Inspired by The Maze Runner, a major motion picture and best-selling novel, Million Dollar Maze Runner puts four teams of “runners” inside an infamous abandoned prison to battle it out for one grand prize. In this half-hour special event, contestants are paired up to endure a series of physical and mental challenges that test their strength, logic and perseverance. The stakes are high, as only one team will escape the confines of the maze and claim their victory. With one million dollars and a brand new Scion up for grabs, it’s an intense race to the finish to prove who is the ultimate “Maze Runner.”

It was boring

I thought it was an entertaining show.  It was produced by Bunim / Murray - the same folks behind Real World, Road Rules, and the Challenge.

That said I felt it would've worked better as an hour show to give us a little more time to get to know the competitors and show more of the challenges. 

3 challenges were crammed into a show that lasted 23:28.

Where was I when they held auditons?? Literally a 1/4 shot at the top prize and you don't have to waste months of your life trying to get it (Survivor, Big Brother, The Challenge, etc.). I don't even know why they gave away that much money and luxury cars over such a small competition that was probably watched by 2 people.
