Big brother is on a basic channel and love island is on a streaming platform. Apples to oranges. 

And if youre comparing to when it was on cbs, the production has changed since joining peacock and thus we got the most entertaining season. As said before-this last season was the most viewed out of the entire series. They doubled the viewership from last season.

engagement for love island is also way higher than big brother. tucker is the highest followed person from s26 and he has 191k. leah from love island is at 3.7 million 

and all these brand deals the islanders are getting are too?! Its unreal, I havent seen a reality show take off like that since jersey shore

I like this season so far. Still corny as hell, but it's light and fun. I wish Safaree wasn't the only straight black dude, he doesn't do it for me.

Difference between LI and BB this year was everywhere I went this summer people were asking me if I'd been watching love island and talking about it, whereas people are too embarrassed to even tell anyone they watch BB anymore since it's so cringe and childish

I am really trying to get into it but love island usa season 6 and current aussie shore have spoiled me beyond belief when it comes to reality shows. So much entertainment effortlessly, whereas the drama on these shows seem so contrived. I really liked season one other than the ending. Theres just nobody keeping me engaged on this show

Is aussie shore actually good? it looks like another paramount flop from the clips ive seen

I think aussie shore is great! Its like real world and old school jersey shore. A lot of roommate hookups, love triangle, drunken shaningans. Callum hasnt even shown up yet (which is who I am watching for) and I am completely engaged. 

Im catching up on episode 3. 

Not Camila from BGC betraying Wes from The Challenge after he went out of his way to work with her but she sided with Richard hatch and the drag queen whom she ultimately betrayed (Richard) cause he kept telling her what to do and then some girl from the bachelor finding an idol/veto in the fridge and removing Wes from the block and Jesse from BB10 getting renominated via twist screw job AGAIN (bb11).

Even BrantSteele can't make these storylines up.

Wow Richard Hatch was disappointing. You're supposed to be the goat but you let Safaree out socialize you? That was embarrassing. Maybe he didn't deserve to be on survivor 40

New York is so odd. Obviously she plays up her antics. However she is still very consistent as a character. She's always been a loner and randomly went off on people for no apparent reason. CBBUK was her most authentic self and was the most entertaining version closely followed by Flavor of Love 1. I just wish she'd switch it up and take the game serious. Turning on Theresa for no reason is such bad gameplay. She did the same thing last season to someone she was close with. She has great intuition and if she took things serious she could win one of these shows. She could easily win a jury vote, no one  actually hates her by the end except Flavor of Love 2 reunion lol. At least she appears to be having more fun this time around because last season she looked so bored and didn't do anything but lay in her bed like that meme with the sunglasses on. I think she was going through something.

New york always comes on these shows and sabotages herself because she knows there's a slim chance she'll win so she goes on antics to get sent home early to get the same pay for little time much like some of these mtv challengers be doing but lying about!

Camila always has to have an Elease. How did she fight Victoria 2 different times in the same episode to then high fiving her due to a common enemy (Larsa) I'm on episode 4. These people are crazy lmaooo

Ok yeah this show is fake. There was zero reason for Larsa to nominate Teresa. Previews is NY vs Teresa for no reason. I'm tired.... Richard hatch spoiled things in his interview anyway so

Timster baby its been the wes show from jump! Every episode revolves around him in some way, I am so sick of it!

Timster, I appreciate you keeping this thread alive. I'll try to leave some commentary when I can. FYI, I've watched every episode and have been absolutely loving this season, and I also loved season 1.

I think she feels pressure to be "New York" because that's why she became iconic and gets cast on all these shows, but that was almost 20 years ago and it's just not who she is anymore *shrugging emoji.* I'm still loving her btw, I like seeing her actually playing the game this season (if that's what you wanna call it...).

This season is wayyyy to contrived. I can't get into it and nothing annoys me more than Wes trying too hard. Tiffany can never disappoint me, even if forced. I don't get how Teresa is a villain. I know she flipped a table and went to jail but she just seems like such a sweet dumb lady.
