There will most likely be “regular people” but who knows. I’ve heard from just watching both Victoria and Tor’i talk about it they were casted for what this show originally was a long time before they initially left while the reality show people weren’t casted until later when they officially made this Ex On The Beach. 

So basically what I gathered was the normal people were just a coincidence since they were already casted for the previous dating show
