Behind the Screen: Dumbest Moves in Challenge History

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Susie is only undefeated because she's never faced anyone worth a damn. She beat Casey,  Kim who admitted she hates wrestling and the only reason she beat Jenn is because she got the one elimination that it helps to be skinny.

Susie herself said she'd lose to Kelly Anne.

Potential dumbest move: Champions giving Casey to Susie in the final elimination instead of Kellyanne on the Ruins. The final could have been JEKD vs Kellyanne, Sarah and Casey.

Susie was allowed to make the decision by herself. So the guys had no say.

And the guys would have won more money having split between the four of them, instead of five. I guess they didn't want to risk Susie pulling out a win, and then throwing the final. At that point they were taking no chances.

KellyAnne wasn't beating Susie in that final elimination.  It would have been rigged

And if you can't beat KellyAnne & Sarah you deserve to lose

I think they're saying the guys should have thrown the mission so the Rookies would have picked

According to Johnny and Derrick back on Derrick's podcast production threatened JEKD  that if they threw the last challenge they'd never be allowed back on the show.

Is it really that true? Cause Johnny still threw it, the rest didnt.

They probably agreed not to throw it and then Johnny tried to "throw it" for the storyline. That challenge was  boring if not for the "will the champions throw it?" angle. It didn't matter if only one of them pretended to mess up so long as enough of them didn't.

I'd agee with you, but honestly, watching Sarah screw over Johnny and now Johnny losing to Cara, has been rather amusing.

i believe that though, because in the article susie wrote for salon she said that when production calls her, they try to get her on the show by saying she has a great chance of winning. so i'm sure they threatened JEKD not to throw it so susie would be able to face casey and win. i feel like production does what they can to subtly help out their favorites
