Just watched the first episode on Netflix and I'm already loving it. I know there is already a UK version and usually the UK shows do it better so I'll prob give them a shot after I finish the US version.
Here's a summary of the format if anybody is interested:
"The contestants, or "players", all move into an apartment building. However, the contestants will never meet face-to-face during the course of the competition, as they will each live in their own individual apartment. They will communicate solely using their profiles on a specially-designed social media app, giving them the ability to portray themselves in any way they choose.
Throughout the series, the contestants will "rate" one another from first to last place. At the end of the ratings, their average ratings are revealed to one another from highest to lowest. Normally, the two highest rated players become "influencers", while the remaining players will be at risk of being "blocked" by the influencers. However, occasionally there may be a twist to the blocking process – varying from the lowest rating players being instantly blocked, the identity of the influencers being a secret, or multiple players being blocked at one time. Blocked players are eliminated from the game, but are given the opportunity to meet one player still in the game in-person. Then, the day after a blocking, a video message is shown to the remaining players to reveal if they were real or fake.
During the final, the contestants rate each other one final time, where the highest rated player wins the game and $100,000."
Love the UK version. Saw both seasons and they were really good. Ill check out this version soon
i actually really like everyone on the cast! im on episode two and so far "shooby" and karen. also really like antonio but i don't see him winning hes playing real hard
I just finished the first 4 episodes and I'm sad I have to wait for next week to continue watching more. Lol. This show is so goood. I'm going to binge watch the UK version now. I'm happy Netflix got to stream this and hope they get to stream more reality competition shows in the future.

i think i just liked antonio in the first episode bc of the edit., now on episode 3 and i cannot stand him. i gotta find the UK version this show is a lot more entertaining than i thought!

finished all the episodes they brought in 2 people it looks like. we didnt really get to meet the guy he seems even cockier than antonio, the girl seems a little crazy but is likeable enough. she seems like she craves attention i cant tell if shes genuine or not but she was a foster kid and i know how that can really mess with people sometimes. i love seeing everyone interact with eachother i cant wait for next weeks episode!

Sammie and Shooby are my top 2. Really good cast overall though. Everyone brings something to the table

Miranda and Karyn are my faves so far! Sammie's okay after watching all the episodes and Chris is charismatic and fun. Everybody else is meh.

I saw it in my recommends and thought it was that movie with Emma Watson. and Tom Hanks, so I just skipped over it.

It's Big Brother meets Solitary with a Catfish vibe and a modern spin. Not hooked yet, but I'll definitely watch another episode.
