It's not only his mannerisms.  His interactions with women aren't normal. No one cares who Josh likes until it's a forced story on a show so his family will believe he's straight

Was Josh really overweight growing up? He just seems insecure and like he didn't have much experience with women growing up and now that he's had a minor glow-up he is going for women wayyyy out of his league and he lacks confidence so his interactions are cringe. He is also a naturally cringe person. He's not gay. I think some of you just want him on your team.

I didn't watch it but I saw a clip on twitter of him standing up against fraud city tori and anyone who does that gets bumped up a few points in my book

i never watched challenge usa so i'm not aware of how Tori betrayed Josh. however i am glad that for once we see Josh not crying ina an argument. 

the last time i agreed with Josh was on his debut season WOTW 1 when he got into it with Ash.
