Behind the Screen: The Challenge: World Championship- Justine Joy Ndiba

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Cashay was the real stand-out fron the LI girls in the USA seasons, she is the one we need.

Cashay doesn't want to come back and even if she did, she's a first boot in 8 out of 10 seasons.

Eliminated two episodes before the final and were just gonna assume she's a first boot majority of the time?

Could she luck into a good partner and make another deep run? Sure. But it's like a 20% chance. She's a decent competitor but she's very undersized and can't swim. She'll get last place in any swimming daily and then be an underdog in most eliminations.

None of this matters, because like Shannon, she said she hated the experience and doesn't want to do it again. They don't have the fire for it.

I think Justine and Kyra are big/strong enough to hold their own in a physical elimination. But only Justine IMO has the fire to try hard.

Liek we haven't seen weak people make deep runs before, look at BigT

What is your point? They shouldn't actively cast weak people. That just makes it easier for Tori/Cara/Jenny to steamroll to a win.

And again, Cashay hated her experience! USA1 was miserable with those bunkbeds in that warehouse with Ben's PTSD going off every night. 90% of USA1ers don't wanna come back. Trying to convince Cashay to return, a weaker competitor who has no drive for the show, is ridiculous.

They should cast based on their personality not their athleticism. Maybe Jenny, Cara and Tori are the ones that should not get cast actually. The foundation of this show is build in chainsmokers and drunks that hit the gym twice a week and loved to party, not in gym-rats with fitness programs.

But, besides that, that wasnt the topic. You just said taht Cashay was cannon fodder and I replied that we have seen weak people like Jasmine, BigT, Devyn or Amanda make deep runs. The Challenge, on it's core, is not just an sporting event. Anyone can win an elimination. Someone not being able to swim or lift half a ton should NEVER be the reason you don't cast her.

agreed. Jenny isn't human, she's a terminator so it's unfair. Cara is just trash inside and out. And nobody wants to see Tori dress up as "Dave" for 19+ episodes like eww

The show hasn't been about unathletic people since like...Inferno 2. That show's not coming back. Even the college/party culture aspect of the show died after Rivals 3.

They're also never dropping Tori/Cara, though I think they've agreed that Jenny is too OP to have on this show.

The rookie and sophomores cast should be the best personalities that can ALSO hang in dailies/eliminations. No one wants to watch Episodes 1 through 8 being 14 rookies and 2 vets going home. We tried that with Spies Lies and it absolutely SUCKED.

Amanda has made two deep runs in eight seasons. But she's also one of the best conflict/villain personalities that the show has ever had so of course she'll be back for 5 more seasons.

But a "good" personality doesn't warrant return after return if their performance sucks. Like, I would have been fine with Cashay getting another season, but if she's out early...that's it.

This girl is boring as fruitfly

Flopnanas#131

She's kinda the female nam vo.... I have no clue why she keeps getting callbacks☕️

Tvandcoffee#132

Maybe yall should watch her on a show other than the challenge to see her personality, because its definitely there and much more present and athletic than Nam. I am genuinely offended for her.

People looooove to be the contrarian on these boards. Justine is a perfectly good character, a good athlete, and she works on this show. There's absolutely zero valid excuses to exclude her from the vet rotation.

CosmicDiva#134

She deserves another shot.

killakashhh#135

Yall call black women who don't scream and yell boring and it's weird Smile

PinkRose#136

If she wins and steals the money, I’ll never call her boring again. But knowing her, she’s probably the one who’s going to get the money stolen from her.

Flopnanas#137

she's a FLOP! GET OVER IT!!! Smile
