Behind the Screen: The Challenge: War of The Worlds II - Tori Deal

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Ive always liked Tori more than most people but her confessional in this past episode that you shouldnt try to avoid eliminations was pretty dumb...

Where has this Tori been. I love her more and more as each episode airsI think she read some vevmo threads before this season and took notes...

Just like how she read casuals loving the cornball act and amped that up. What a clown

I'm dead at the casuals turning on Tori right when she's starting to grow on us.

I don’t mind her but she is a try hard for sure. Her confessional although kind of funny was really unneeded, the entire point of the game is to make it to the final not going in an elimination is one of those ways.

flyguy#37

Confessional Gangsta.

I gurantee Cara or Kam knew what she was saying at the time lmai

I still like her.. so far. I’m just confused on her comments about using a social game to avoid eliminations. Laurel vs Ninja prove that anything can happen, so yeah avoid it by all means lol

TYGUY14#39

talking about going in elimination head strong... girl, like you did with Kam and Sylv?

i get both  sides. I think she was saying that Cara claims she’s the best girl or one of the best girl but she freaks out when anyone attempts to put her in elimination. It kind of looks like she’s not that great of a competitor. Look how she yelled at Ct when he almost got Kyle in the tribunal lol. It was a bit much. When laurel got voted in she said “alright cool it’s not that big of a deal”. At that point the only thing you can do is try your best. BUT I wouldn’t be thrilled to go into elimination either but I just wouldn’t go about it the way Cara does. She’s entitled and hasn’t proved much.

Cara and Tori were tight at one point, and they even commented to each other a fair amount on social media before this current Challenge. They haven't really shown anything happen between them, yet Tori has shaded Cara a few times on the show. What happened and when?

flyguy#42

She's being a confessional gangsta. Kam said in her last video that she had no idea Tori was talkin so much shit lmao

Lowkey I've kind of been okay with Tori this season. She hasn't really annoyed me on the actual show like she usually does. And her and Cara being on opposite sides is surprising. She and Jordan are annoying af on the aftershow things though.

Jordan loathes Cara, I'm guessing that's where it stems from.

Def not the biggest Tori fan but her checking Jordan and telling him that not everyone's gonna react to him being a jerk the same way was absolutely needed. Shoutout to her being open and honest with her bf

Shes been good this season.

richjoe92#51

Facts. She out there protecting her mans (defending him from Turbo) and calling out her mans on his shit. She's looking like a keeper tbh.

she has been amazing this season Tori is smart and yall gonna put some respek on her name, and she knows when to snap!!

She totally redeemed herself for me this season and bringing me back to when I loved her on AYTO. She needed that little break she took. I feel like she's honestly being her genuine self and realizing that she doesn't need to play a character like she did on her first Challenge seasons.

Agreed 100%! Super well said.

People have been too hard on her. She was a 22-23 year old who fell into reality tv and was one of the lucky ones from AYTO to have numerous opportunities (AYTO, Second Chances, the Challenge), and she’s definitely matured over the couple years. But she’s always had a live-free, have fun, be goofy attitude.

This season she’s very level headed though and her and Jordan’s dynamic is really fun to watch. Every other relationship that this show has had has been annoying or overprotective and they just seem very chill and go with the flow, while still caring about each other number one.

And her political game has been very strong as well. At least from editing it looks like Paulie and Cara were unaware of how involved she was with trying to get cara and ninja against one another.
