Behind the Screen: The Challenge: War of the Worlds - Dee Nguyen

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I liked her, but after last episode, no. She was even worse than ninja with the whole "you're being aggressive" when ninja is out there actually throwing shit and screaming in turbo's face...

I didn’t understand her telling turbo to stop being aggressive as her friend is literally flipping everything and banging a giant pole against a trash can, but what REALLY turned me off was her continuing to talk shit after turbo refused ninja’s apology at the club.

Like, girl... we were rooting for you :/

She really needed to do one of 2 things regarding the Turbo/Ninja situation.

1. Pull Ninja aside and tell her what she did was not cool

2. Sit there and eat her food and not say anything.

This whole situation made me side eye her.

Tells Turbo to stop being aggressive as she rolls up to him yelling and calling her hands while talking and he's sitting on the ground.

Then proceeds to call him a **** at the club for not taking the apology after Ninja made herself look like a complete ***.

Petrified of water.  Petrified of heights.  No stamina.  Got beasted by a girl who weighs 90lbs wet.  How in gods name did she make it so far this season?

No stamina? You know people on the actual show who've seen her said dee has good endurance ,

90 pounds? Have you not see day? She's not Anastasia..... she's in great shape

Ok 1. Her stamina is on point. 2. Da’Vonne is not little at all. Like where’d you get 90lbs from? They’re both close in size weight wise. And lastly, she’s actually pretty decent despite her fears which btw, isn’t what the entire season challenges were based on.

Not a fan of Dee or Ninja but i’m proud of the Asian girls for sticking together, I wish I could say the same about the Afro women

I thought she had a good storyline minus coming at Turbo. I don’t understand the over the top hate. I wouldn’t mind seeing her return and see how she acts on a second season.

I don’t know why but it feels like she gets more hate than Ninja does.

Totally, which I also don’t get because Ninja’s clownery is what caused the whole situation and Ninja is 5x as annoying as Dee imo.

I don't like her & Ninja but I also wouldn't mind seeing them back.

Dee made an entire *** out of herself but she's "redeemable" lol I don't think she'll be back tho.

i think if it was at anyone other than Turbo, there would be nowhere near the amount of hate there has been

If it was anyone other than Turbo they would've popped off on her *** lmao. Paulie said it himself Ninja never yelled at him like that.

Then she wanted to call it a "miscommunication" smfh

MichFitz#144

I want to like Dee but she's always aligned with people I don't like...But she's always the most tolerable of the group.
