I don’t know, maybe he wasn’t close enough with her, or he’ll follow her later. I mean that’s what Day and Bear did.

Maybe he just doesn't really care that much about social media and who he follows/ doesn't follow. Believe it or not, some people just use social media as their own platform and don't care about what other people he met for 2ish months are doing.
