Does anyone know why they don't stream the next day?

It's most likely in BMP's legacy contracts and if Paramount wasn't negotiating next day streaming revenue, they made the business decision to keep as many eyeballs on them as possible.

Paramount/CBS are the same company that completely fumbled Love Island and Peacock made it rise from the ashes like a Phoenix. NBC is just way, way better at reality television.

That's not entirely accurate. Drag Race's premiere pulled 671k back in January and ended at 867k in April. Other than those, only three episodes were above 790k: (794k, 870k, and 984k). So four of 16 episodes above 790k. The other eleven episodes ranged from 424k to 591k, with more than half in the 424k to 550k range. It's significantly higher than The Challenge, but very much inconsistent and not like it's pulling 750k a week. The average for the season was 614k.

You're cherry picking a single show not on MTV.  Compare it to MTV.  It's doing fine...if not great.  

The Challenge likely gets canceled if MTV dies...though I'm not sure if CBS was happy with spinoff.  Guessing it ceasing to exist for a 3rd season indicates they weren't

To be clear: USA is not cancelled. It's officially on hiatus. As is Tough as Nails and Buddy Games. Who knows why all three are still alive. But they are. For reference, The Summit reality tv show got 1 season and was promptly cancelled.

The first move isn't cancellation. It would first be a reduction of the prize money, then a reduction in filming runtime, then a reduction in location exclusivity, then a drop off in the quality of set design, then a reduction in episode run time and episode count, then a lack of returning players and/or reduction in size of cast. That all right there could shave up to a million off of the cost of the show. And that's all, of course, if it's losing money.

Which, by all accounts of it getting a $1 million dollar prize pot, 19 episodes + a two part reunion, and a decently large cast of 32, it's still a money maker.

i was looking at the ratings of cable shows the last few days and the challenge’s demo is actually pretty good. its the same as shows like below deck, the valley, and real housewives of orange county. and their demo was higher than other shows like real housewives of miami, love and hip hop, worst cooks in america, and basketball wives.

It's actually unbelievable MTV doesn't stream this show on ANY platform next day. I can't think of a single current show like that. I mean Stars, Zeus, nothing. That's just crazy and makes no sense. 

They must now upload the episodes to XVideos.

It's all about accessibility. People are still watching tv. More than ever actually because it's too damn expensive to do anything else.

yea people thought real housewives of miami was going to get canceled because it's ratings were similar to the challenge but it immediately got renewed for another season because it's peacock numbers are high.

Challenge fasn so funny. they hate the "vacation allaince" so theyre just bringing up excuses as to why this floopped, talking about cable/etc when all stars 5 aired just some months back and it wasnt this bad. this is called COPE. if devin and tori were apart of this season we would be hearing how they need to stop getting calls.
