Here's the sad truth: the explosive, ruthless, argumentative, take no prisoners, drama girlies that were born on reality television in the 15 golden years between 2002 and 2017 aren't coming back. Nany and Ashley are basically the last legacy ones holding it down in this franchise. Marie's gone. Kailah's gone. Tina's a once every four seasons type character. Amanda can't make it past Episode Four.

None of the rookies in the past seven-ish years have that dawg in them. They have real jobs and brand deals to worry about. The simple truth.

If what we get outta the new class is at least hyper competitive, great at competition, willing to make big moves, and willing to stand on business and shit talk when necessary, then the show will be all the better for it.

Sydney's rookie season as a competitor is legit a Top 10 female rookie all time already. She also has no respect for these vets and will cut throats when necessary. Just need her to be a little bit louder in the game and she's a franchise staple.

I will say I was disappointed in what she brought in terms of drama. Even her fecal talk was lackluster compared to my expectations. However, she is ego driven. She can pretend all day she doesn't care what people think but she wants to entertain. In a 2nd season I think she'd entertain and be more unfiltered and confrontational. Moriah, Kasey, Tay, and Adrianna could do 50 in a row and never have a moment. Sydney has it in her. Plus, she'll be targeted a lot more which will turn her up. Sophomore Season Sydney is DELIVERING!

Yeah, the main drawback for her is that she's a professional person with a boyfriend. She's not going to get into drunken personal drama. I mourn what she could've been on this show if she debuted on like 38 when she was single and 26.

But I do think she'll have no issues with getting loud about game-based, strategic drama. She would get into a "Michaela-side vs Nany" type of argument in the right context. Easily.

Sophomore Sydney is gonna take some major fire, too. She'll have the guys on her side and NO ONE else.
