Producers can't force a "face" of the show though. The fans have rejected Olivia. She has no real fans to speak of. She's seen as the girl production gave four seasons to because they almost killed her. And her snake move on Nurys soured anyone that liked her on Ride or Dies.

She can play as hard as she wants to this season, but unless she fundamentally changes her personality, people are not going to flock to rooting for her.

The fans, like myself, flip-flop with the editing every episode and usually root for the underdog. They can hate someone one season and then root for them the next, and vice versa. We’ve seen this happen over and over with people like Cara, Sarah, Tori, Nany, Kam, Jordan, Turbo, and so many others. When a player is in the majority alliance, fans hate them; but when they’re in the minority winning eliminations, fans start to love them. That’s the beauty of this show! well, outside of the 10 Vevmo users who stay married to hating someone forever and never let it go ❤️

This is like a complete fantasy lol.

She was a decent rookie, almost an afterthought...then she almost got negligently manslaughtered and got the fans sympathy.

The she comes back on 39, is basically a ghost for the first half of the season other than complaining about Horacio being cold to her in confessionals. Then she pulls her heel turn, betrays Nurys and gets all of the fans against her while Nurys almost pulls off the single greatest endgame in Challenge history.

Then she comes back in 40, knocks out Nurys, hooks up with Theo, and lasts 13 episodes doing...basically nothing outside of one Bananas' argument.

I won't lie, she's the main character of 41 so far but lets not act likes she was anything but Michele's lackey/sidekick for the vast majority of 39 and 40.

I don't hate Olivia, I just think she's not a legitimate "face" of The Challenge. Her crown is Fool's Gold. She has no fan support to speak of. She's not particularly interesting or polarizing. She's a completely fine castmember. But like...Face of Era 4/5? No. Laughable. Her being the only castmember on 38-41 is silly to me.
