Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Vets and New Threats- Justin Hinsley

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats- Justin Hinsley

Justin will be a regular because he feels a niche spot. They've struggled to find a gay regular and especially one that can compete. As we've seen with Nam & Kasey, once they've filled a minority spot, they'll reuse it no matter how good or bad the casting because they are too lazy to find more.

Serious question: do they (mtv/paramount) even care about diversity casting anymore, given everything going on with politics and tv nowadays?

They shouldn't.  They should put together the best cast.  For the women that might be 90% POC.   I won't be complaining about the lack of white women if we get Coral Irulan Roni etc.

and 90% black men too.

While eI don't like him as much as I did the first episode, I do think he has potential to win a season.

King for calling out Aneesa and telling her to retire! Give him the callback!
