It's a game.  Everyone lies...Derek played the odds and lost.  Hopefully that hurts his game but most people won't remember this in 5 years...maybe 5 weeks

In my opinion, Derek often acts in a way that seems socially conscious, primarily to seek attention. This reminds me of his social media post where he said, “I will unfollow you if you voted for Trump.” When people bring up Cara in relation to this, he gets upset. However, when he faces criticism for his comments, he tends to adopt a victim mentality like his recent IG post of people calling him out. People wouldn’t have a problem if he hadn’t made such a fuss about it in the first place. Personally, I don’t care who anyone follows, but if you choose to make a big deal about something on social media or on the show, I will hold you accountable for not being consistent in the way you move.
