it's very odd behavior from that old man especially with his cheating history. But as an early boot seems like he's trying to stay relevant.

He's a narcissistic opportunist. He wants to insert himself into every possible story about the show. He keeps hammering this because it happened early enough in the season before he got eliminated that if he makes it an ongoing point of discussion, he can keep talking about HIS experience and HIS perspective.

Because everything that happened from Episode 5 on, he's a bystander/audience member like the rest of us.

It became a bigger deal when her stans said while filming the spoiler team was lying. And then bigger when the casts brought it up despite it not airing.

That part. Fans are legit mad at her because she doesn't want to talk about it and didn't go to the reunion but if she did she would still get hate. Gamer would still be riling up his/her little followers just the same.
