Behind the Screen: The Challenge: USA 2- The Pursuit of Glory

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Desi might have won this, but Enzo still shouldn't be able to sleep at night...

do u think she returns if she wins szn 1?

It's weird to say Chanelle is the runner up of this season. I truly thought Tori was superior and I think they thought that too which is why they were so scared to face her but this proves that sometimes you have to believe yourself

Probably not but I know due to her job she doesn't want to devote too much time to the flagship.

I could see her bowing out but if the Secret Garden all do another season she'd probably return. I can't see her doing it alone.

I wonder why PR had a tough time figuring out the 3/4 eliminations Chris won

i stopped feeding her info for a while.

Well that's two USA season finales that had me hyped the entire episode something about a fast paced final with unexpected moments is what is most fun to watch. I bet season 39 final will be split into 3 episodes Biggrin

You were spoiler free right. Are you surprised by the ending?

timster3#134

Well no timster3 commentary for 39! Peace! See you for Allstars 4 a year from now cause I am spoiled on that.

Where yall at? I'm so high energy rn. Seeing Tori flop, Fessy flop, Michaela slay, Chris slay, Desi cry brought me so much joy

timster3#137

Oh I see why I loved it so much. Besides what I said IT WAS COMPLETELY INDIVIDUAL. NO PAIRS. NO ONE SCREWED OVER BY SOMEONE ELSE. THEY FINALLY STOPPED BEING LAZY AND HIRED A CAMERA MAN TO FOLLOW ALL 8 FINALISTS INDIVIDUALLY IKDR

WHY ARENT YOU POSTING FOR 39 TIMSTER?!???!!?

anon12423452355...#140

I can't believe Jman and KVM aren't in here defending their loser lovers.

timster3#141

WHY ARENT YOU POSTING FOR 39 TIMSTER?!???!!?

cause I'm not spoiled on who wins (yet). I know a couple finalists and two flops. Usually the winners name would trend during spoiler reveal but they didn't lmaoo then I got banned not long after so I expect to make it all season if I can avoid episode threads, YouTube, and hashtags. And unless the season provides a really good drama, I don't see myself having the desire to read other peoples opinions. I could care less about 90% of the cast so I'll probably be bored and only watch for the "suspense" of elimination rounds.

Well the little excitement I had for 39 just died. Timster you are 75% of the viewing experience.

CyclopsBaby#143

The final itself was completely fine. But the completely arbitrary checkpoints being so important was RIDICULOUS. The ax throw and the rock balancing were complete jokes and they were the only thing that mattered at all.

Tvandcoffee#146

Production had a hard time keeping up with chris, he was that fast

Tvandcoffee#147

LMAOOOO desis fiancee found out before she got the chance to call him and chris's wife found out before he got to tell her too

dylan76#148

Man, that was a satisfying finale.  The humor of Tori purging + the satisfaction of John failing, mixed with the elation I had when Chris won was almost orgasmic.  Still, a final where you don't race from start to finish without stopping is pure foolishness to me.
