Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies - Jeremiah White

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Not sure why he wasn't on 39.

Won an elimination, had a showmance, and was starting to breakout. Him & Cory vs the house would've been a nice dynamic.

But somehow we manage to get Ed.

His chance of coming back ended when amber moved on with chauncey. 99.9 he never comes back. Bigger question is why wasnt johnny not on 39!

The real question is why weren't they both on together? Y'all love comparing black folks. What's the problem with having them both??

Him not staying with Amber on a season with no champs simply do not correlate. It just goes to show that other races can be filler and background characters, but the black people have to carry a season on their back to be given another opportunity.

But let me not start, he should've been on and that's where it should've been left at. If you felt like Johnny should've been on, there's a whole thread about Johnny that you can go to.

Flopnanas#225

Comparing what? He's boring as **** and thats all I saw people saying from every form of social media. When even a girl like amber is miles away more entertainining than you that's a problem...We need more entertaining black men. Production needs to do a better job.

TheKonquerer#226

Look at the season he debuted on ? There was no chance for him to really shine. The whole point is he could've had a spot period point blank.

It's always going to be a disconnect with straight black men on this show and the fans because most don't show out for the cameras, or do too much unless they are directly disrespected in which his case, he wasn't.

Y'all be the same people saying that it's okay to be a background character, why is that never the case for black people? The black people have to carry this show on their backs if they want to come back, they just can't be a background character and come back like Ed, Colleen, Moriah, etc.

TheKonquerer#227

And let's face it, y'all only want one type of black man anyways. The ones who are the **** boys lmao (Cory, Johnny, etc)

Y'all clown the black men who are there for the game and can compete (Danny, Darrell, etc)

And then let them cast some real hood brothas on the show like Keenan, Kareem, JD, Jeff, etc, y'all would hate on them too because they're too "aggressive" and all that other bs y'all be spewing. It happens time and time again.

TheKonquerer#228

Last thing lmao, truth be told Jeremiah did more than Johnny ON THE CHALLENGE anyways.
