Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies- The Cave of the

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies- The Cave of the Wolf

As much as we hate to admit, Josh isn't the worst competitor to ever grace the show. He's just unlikable and annoying. He's also clumsy and gets in his head a lot and that's why he loses so much. He's pretty competent in dailies. He's a good swimmer and seemed to have gotten better at puzzles.

Danny Dias is the worst ever and there's peopel worse than Josh but the issue is that Josh simply isn't athletic

Danny was iconic on his one Challenge season. I dare someone to say otherwise.

Iconic is fine but easily the worst ever competitor. His conversation with Cara at the end with Landon trying not to laugh but couldn't was hysterical.   He'll be remembered just because of how ridiculous he was.

I felt Cara and co. were pretty mean to Danny.

Josh is pretty much average or a little below that as a competitor, there were far worse guys, he has a bad elimination record but he's good at dailies, of course he will never be CT or Landon but he's not that behind the Cory's and Kyle's

Although Cory and Kyle are not outstanding competitors, they both have made finals; so yes, Josh is pretty far behind them.

Cory and Kyle are far better.  They're the definition of average. Josh is below average but not one of the worst. He's just not an athlete.

Didn't Danny only do one season and went home after like episode 3? I'm not sure how you came up to that conclusion based on those 3 or 4 episodes?

They are better but they aren't far better, Josh performs better at dailies than both of them and is stronger than at least Kyle, i hate the guy but saying he is far worse than cory or kyle is an exageration

I hope you're joking.   Danny is widely considered the worst ever.

Then we disagree--both are better athletes.  Nelson hasn't won a daily in what seems like a decade but he's still a much better competitior than Josh.  I don't like any of the 4 (Nelson's okay) but the other 3 are a level above Josh.   I don't think Josh is stronger.  Kyle would kill Josh in Pole Wrestle for example.

He doesn't have to.  Watch him on Road Rules then watch G2.  It's funny you claim I look for arguments when you're trying to defend Danny Dias.  Good luck with that.

anon12423452355...#105

Did I defend Danny lol? I simply asked questions. I only remember his one season and yelling at Chodi. I have zero recollection of how he performed...I don't remember every detail like you do. I just don't think I've heard anyone else call him the worst of all-time.

He wasn't even that terrible from what I remember. Bad? Probably but maybe not worst ever.

Rewatch it and Road Rules

Gucci Mane#108

All I remember about him was he called Jodi a stupid ***** or something as he stormed off lol

null#109

Didn't watch a single episode of this season but till watch this one for Josh elimination

CosmicDiva#110

Y'all better let Danny Dias rest in his damn grave

How many episodes does this season have ? I feel like they need to condense season to like 14 episodes this 20+ episodes aren't cutting it for me I have the attention span of a 5 year old especially when the formula is so repetitive.

I miss the days when we had RW and challenge alternating spots it made me miss the other show also wonder which Real worlders they were using as rookies on the challenge.

Ain't it 19 episodes plus a 2 part unnecessary reunion. This season started in the summer and will end around Christmas it's ridiculous

Connor91#113

I'm still surprised people are calling Kyle an average competitor. I know I'm a bit biased but a bit of a breakdown.

Vendettas - Finished 3rd in the final

FR - I have no defence for this but really there was only one physical eliminaton he lost, and Brad hasn't been that decent for years so isn't exactly the perfect partner

WOTW: Won 2 elims then lost to Theo in a fairly decent hall brawl and Theo is a beast

WOTW2: Again out to Theo again in a tight content because he went with the wrong strategy

Total Madness - 1 elim win, albeit against Josh then runner up in the final.

Double Agents - 1 elim win then knocked out by Fessy, who lets be honest is going to beat most in a hall brawl

SLAA - 2 elim wins (at this point) and as much as I don't like Josh athletically he has got a lot better and that bridge mission would have taken a lot of endurance.

I'm not saying he's one of the best but he's definitely not average. Beating Ed who is pretty built definitely isn't a bad showing.

Yeah anyway this season is shit
