im currently watching The Stand on CBS AA & it's F bombs,  violence & steamy sex, hardly family fare.  Hopefully The Challenge will retain it's more adult content.   There's enough family shit to watch on TV.

I HATE how they try to make everything family friendly. I would probably be a fan of superhero movies if they were rated R and we saw actual blood and gore. Not everything is for kids, and besides when I was a kid watching Flavor of Love it didn't mess me up. They're gonna get exposed the second they go into middle school anyways sksk

Family friendly has it's place but MTV and The Challenge is not it. I agree, it's killed the show.

Yes!!! The beginning seasons were raunchy, drama, and sooo good. Then they went the family friendly route and we haven't gotten a good season since.

And they casted racists and white people that run the show every season since BB16

I have been watching old seasons again and a lot of the stuff that was raunchy and drama filled would not be received well today at all.  Almost every cast member would be getting dragged or potentially cancelled if you had the same exact stuff being done with new people.  A lot of that stuff being gone is for the better obviously. I loved a lot of that stuff when I first watched it but now so much of it makes me cringe so while I still appreciate it in a nostolgic sense, there is stuff that would get this show cancelled if it happened now.  

That being said they should make this show at least geared towards adults. Meaning they can still show hookups and they dont need to censor every bad word. There is no FCC for cable.  If the demo is 18+ they should cater to that group. Some of the best Challenge stuff was the uncensored dailies and clips MTV used to show on their website.  JMO but maybe the demo they are targeting is children.

Do you know if Puck was ever considered? I'm scrolling through comments on the Paramount+ facebook page for Real World reunion and all the casuals are talking about and asking for Puck and Pedro. Puck would've brought the ratings! Meanwhile The Challenge Allstars video has no comments and barely any likes or shares lol

I've only just got Paramount+ to start watching these now. Only on episode 6, but this is the Challenge I love!! I know it's early days and comes with their age, but the honest game, putting yourself in, going in for others, is so much better in my opinion. The politicking *****y drama of the regular season has got so old. You can watch an entire episode and hardly see much of a challenge.

Makes me realise how crap the regular show has become. Just keep on keeping John off these!

And I love that Kenny and Evan can't be a part of it!

Me too but after seeing the cast we are getting for "Champs" I am prepared for the ABSOLUTE worst. But production, I know you are lurking so if you want some advice for a killer cast my DMs are OPEN.

Susie will play the game and she's good at it. Like someone said we need that on the woman's side. But yes, I want to see her finally lose an elimination preferably to someone like Julie or Katie.

Monotone cracked out nasty beard Brad isn't needed. Corny Mark can stay on production and Johnny can stay on the MTV version.

please no. Bananas can stay on the flagship and we need to switch up the casting for AS and include more OG faces we havent seen in years. A few repeat casting is fine, but repeating 75% of the cast is whats wrong with the flagship IMO
