My hopes for the future are they let fans start applying and maybe cast ten people with potential to compete. I'll rather have that than these Instagram Models and useless UK people

Theresa and Darrell were great surprises, as were Nelson and Kailah (less surprising but still good to see them back). plus Bayleigh, Jay, Natalie, and Lolo.
hoping Cooke agreeing to the OG challenge means we'll see her on an actual season soon. Kellyanne and Abe too.
for new rookies - more exciting names from Survivor and other shows please. Brett, Haleigh, Michaela, Chris Noble, Lauren O'Connell, Dean Kowalski - lots of great options out there

I mean, it was before the days of serious social media fame but some of the "fans" on both seasons were recruits.

Agreed--as much as the dream is Michaela I think Lauren O'Connell is the perfect fit for the show.

They did those seasons back when they were recruiting a lot more and it kind of seemed like they intentionally cast idiots so the favourites could win (kind of like the challenge does now with the male side). Only in the last few years have they been casting almost entirely big fans of the show and it's actually paid off pretty well, there's more strategy across the board compared to what it used to be with one or a few good players running the show
