Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Final Reckoning - The Walking Dead

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

In all fairness, it wasn’t fair… but had the Challenge gods gotten their way, Johnny and Tony were making it to the final… and most likely winning. Rivals 2 pt. 2? I think not!The next night we returned, and a new battle was set up. This one on a much more level playing field."

how was this elimination a much more level playing field?

It was basically willpower. I'd say it was a very equal elimination (or as close as possible) for males and feamles.

It wasn’t. Johnnys muscle mass was a huge disadvantage.

Ok tell this to survivor producers. Lmao obviously Johnny has more muscle mass but the elimination is based on your own body weight. Its gender equal, if you cant support your own body weight thats no one else’s fault. Natalie experienced the same pain as johnny

Those type of eliminations really suit smaller girls and slim guys, for whatever reason, so I'm not surprised Nat beat John. I'm impressed how long they both held on, but it should be like that in a game for million dollars. Happy for Nat and Paulie.

I just love that johnny wasted almost 6 hrs & still lost.  That whole time you know he was thinking that Nat was dropping any second.  That look of disappointment & failure on his smug face was thrilling.
